Remarks
The admission process was simple. I was applied for PESIT, BVB, and RVCE college but I was allotted to Dayananda Sagar College. I come under the general category so didn't apply for quota. There were no such admission criteria considering minimum marks and age. As I said before, the admission process was simple, and completed the process soon.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MCA because I wanted to study more rather than work and also to improve my programming skills. All the faculty members were cooperative throughout the course and knowledgeable too. There were 8 faculty and 60 students in total. Most of the faculty members were well qualified with Master's degrees and a Doctorate. Their teaching method was excellent. Term exams used to happen every 6 months. It was not much difficult for us to pass.
Placement Experience
From the final semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There were many companies that visited our campus, namely Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Mphasis, etc. The highest package was around 15 lakhs and the average package was around 4.5 lakhs. The companies offered various profiles. The percentage of students getting placements was around 70%. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no such thing as a fees hike policy. The fees structure was the same which was around 95000 for 1 year which was not much costly. I did not apply for any scholarship and I did not get a job on campus.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest was Furore used to happen every year in the month of March. The library was accessible to everyone with a valid college ID card. All the books and journals were available in the library. Amenities in classrooms were blackboard, desks, fan, projector, etc. A big ground is there in the college where many sports activities used to happen.
