Entrance Preview

I have cleared GATE 2016 and my gate score is 355 and i admitted in this college because of further preparation for other exams like UPSC (Engineering Services).

Internships Opportunities

I have no idea about internship because i have admitted just three months before and the stipend is provided to all the gate qualified students by the government of india(i.e. PG Scholarship) given by AICTE.

Placement Experience

In year 2015-16 total 1013 students are placed in various companies like ACC Concrete Ltd, Accenture India Pvt Ltd, Adani Group, Adecco India Aditya Birla - Vikram Cement, Adobe Systems India Pvt Ltd, Ador Welding Ltd, Agrawal Developers (Sagar Group), Akash Educational Services Pvt Ltd.

Alumni Network is also very helpful for arranging the companies for campus recruitment and some of them are running his organisation then they also recruit the freshers from the institute.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very well according to autonomy of institute ,they conduct exams in very good manner and decide the time of exam according to students flexability and they declare the results after the exam with in 30 to 45 days after completion of exams.

The placement starts coming at the end of 6th sem or beginning of 7th. You can expect around 15-20 companies to visit. Recently there have been visits by carwale, quantiphi, cognizant, Cape Gemini, Infosys, Kfintech, TCS. All of them had their packages in the range 6-8 lpa. Highest packages reach around 20LPA for a handful of students as one of a good company might visit Like Intuit, Zscaler, Deustche Bank While obviously some students crack off camps and recieve even better options 60-70 percentage of students can get placed here My plans are doing Masters incase I don't get a good enough job.

There are lots of student apply for placements once in a time few got placed but company like tsc capgemeni took mass hiring from college. In 7 or 8 semesters students was allowed to sit in placemnet. Studnets are placed in company got joinning in short perioud of time abd they also provide offer letter to them. In the placement drives student can be eligible in the last semester of the course and there is no particular company that visit regularly because the college has no tie-ups with the companies but management tries to conduct the placement drives with random companies. who offers a maximum of 180000/year. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed. For BTech the scores accepted are of Jee mains. The cutoff can be considered above 90 percentile....Read More
