The college is a government college under WBSCTE. The fee is very low and reasonable as it is under the government. One taking admission in this college must qualify madhyamik or 10 equivalent. And one must score a good rank in the Jexpo examination.

Nowadays the whole world is based on computers. Thus doing a course related to computers like diploma in computer science and technology is always beneficial. There are 4 departments in this college. Computer science and technology, electronics and telecommunications, architecture and mopm. Almost 50 students are there in each dept. In each batch.

From 5th semester, at the last year students are eligible for campusing. Many companies from all over india offered telephonic interviews due to covid 19.Companies offer apprenticeship training with stipend of approximate 10k to 15k per month. Many companies offered accomodation and canteen.

Rs 50 per month is the college fee and 800 rupees per semester which includes all total college fees. Transportation costs, scholarships are given from the college. Though the college hostel is almost 10kms from college, the hostel provides great accommodation and meals.

There is a library, two seminar halls, and lab rooms for allotted subjects. Freshers, farewell,fest name ignitia, teachers day, independence day, and Vishwakarma Puja are celebrated here every year. Sports take place annually.
