Views of mine on VIT

I didn't apply to any other colleges because I was sure that I would be selected and selected as per my assumption. There is no quota for any course in this college. They Will conduct an exam called VITEEE for the BTech students and depends on the ranks they will fill the seats accordingly! The science group students will fill seats according to their 12th grade marks. On the admission day they Will allot many days for the respective students like 0-20000 rank students on day 1, 20001-40000 rank students on day 2 like that and the science group students admission on another day like that. On the day of admission, they Will call as per the rank range and tell the students to choose one from any of the remaining vacant seats and the students have to choose that. After that, they have to pay the fee and hostel fee if they are joining the hostel. In BTech there are five categories and their fees is as follows. 1-19500 2-300000 3-350000 4-400000 5-500000.

The exams are for every 6 months that is there are 8 semesters for BTech students. In each semester there will be 2 internals and 1 main exam. The Internals are called cat1 and cat1 (cumulative assessment test) and the final test is called fat (final assessment test). There is also a lab session for some particular courses and we have to write assignments for that instead of cat1 and cat2 in theory subjects. The difficultly of the exam depends on the faculty and mostly it Will be easy. I recommend studying the daily portions and easily you can get good marks

For internships, the average companies will hire the students and stipend as 20-30k per month and it may also increase with the project difficulty. The types of duties like data handling, testing online and manual, coding, marketing are expected from different companies.

From the 6th semester, you will be eligible to attend campus Interviews in most of the companies. The popular companies like CTS, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys visit the college and fill the vacancies up to 200 and your knowledge speaks here and there are some core and product based small companies also come and hire the students from all branches The highest package is 44LPA and the avg is 6LPA in VIT and it Will be increased when the experience increased. 80% of the student's Will be placed according to their knowledge and talents every year in VIT. That's why I joined VIT. I plan to do MTech after my bachelor degree.

There is no fees hike here till you finish your studies. The college will keep their words and won't cheat you that's the thing I like here and the merit seat for the BTech is 195000 PA and 60000 for the science group courses. I didn't get any scholarship for my studies as I didn't apply for that since I got a merit seat at the time of counselling. As I am in my second year I didn't get any job till now. But my seniors have got the job on 7.2LPA.

Riviera is the main fest that will be celebrated in VIT. Many celebrities will be called and a live music concert will be held. For 2 days there will be stage performance will give a treat to your eyes. The library Will be so huge that may contain lakhs of books in it with more knowledge. You can make use of all of the Library resources. The classrooms are so cool with the eco friendly environment and you may hear the songs of birds as the greeneries attract the birds The vast sports grounds helps you to improve your skills and you can also participate in any competition if you have the sports skills and the college also will help you to achieve your goals There are many clubs and chapters in VIT which helps you to improve your talents drastically from low to high through Intra and inter competitions among clubs which may increase your skills but you have to keep an eye on your studies too

There are many types of rooms will vacancies as 1,2,4,6 students with and without A/C the are air conditioned rooms in VIT and clean bathroom and frequently the labours will be cleaning the bathroom and sometimes it may appear ugly due to some students activities but its better than any other colleges The food is so so so good than any other colleges as you can choose the caterers you want and all the caterers are the best in Vellore city and they also have a restaurant. The registration process of the hostel depends on the GPA you earn in the previous semester for the first years students the college itself allot the rooms to you but from 2nd sem, your GPA will choose your rooms and you will be given priority depends on the GPA you have and the fee of the hostel is cost worthy than any other colleges There are many rented rooms outside the campus in a radius of under 1km.
