Remarks
Along with FCRIT, I had also applied to another college but I was not sure whether I should attend it or not because it was a new campus. Fcrit, the Vashi campus has been around for a while and has had good results. This is why choosing FCRIT was the best option. The admission process was very easy to follow and transparent. The program details were available to all expectant students, thus, I could make a more informed decision while choosing my program.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Information Technology because of the new advancements we see every day. It is a course that has always interested me. Exams are taken in such a way that they test us on all topics. This has helped me recognise my own strengths and weaknesses. The faculty make sure the revise the topics before exams and also go over the questions after an exam. They are always open to doubts and make sure that they clear them, even if it means that they'll have to get back to a student at a later time regarding any doubt.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internship opportunities to every student. Internships are usually from various fields. Students' achievements are appreciated. Students are encouraged to make projects and teachers are always open to guide us for the same.
Placement Experience
The placement process starts from the 7th semester of college. The training for which starts prior to it (semester 6). We have many companies like TCS, LTI, Carwale, etc. that visit the campus. Our placement cell has a separate portal. This portal has been very helpful in keeping track of all the visiting companies. Communication with the placement team is very transparent. Thus, any issues get solved easily.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very transparent. While paying, the breakdown of the fee is available to everyone. Even during the pandemic, the college was considerate of people's financial situation in regards to the college fee.
Campus Life
The annual fest is called FACES, the tech fest is called Etamax. The tech fest is usually conducted during the first half of the year, and the annual fest is conducted during the second half of the year. Multiple copies of books are usually present in the library. Thus, we have access to them almost all the time. Students can also access online journals using credentials provided by the college.
