Remarks

The college is NBA accredited. The admission process is as per the Directives of the DTE. The admission process is very much easy and smooth. I got into this college from the sc category by providing respective documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have selected this field because of my personal interest in coding and networking. Every faculty in our college is ME/MTECH and PhD pursuing. The faculty: student ratio is 1:60. Teachers make every topic very much clear and revision classes are also conducted for betterment. Quizzes are conducted in every single lecture for students benefit. Exams consist of an Assignment test, Internal assessment test and Prelims.

Class Size: 73Course Fees: INR 2984 per year

Internships Opportunities

The eligible students get offers from TIFR i.e., Tata Institute of Fundamental research. They provide training and we have to complete given assignments and several reports on time. This will help us to get friendly with company environment.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 7. Till now many companies visited such as Godrej, LTI, TCS, L&T etc. Till now the highest package was 7-8L per annum and the average is 4-5L per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is average as per the engineering colleges which lies around 1L to 1.5L. our fees were up to 8K as I fall under the SC category. You can apply for various scholarships and get benefits. For the scholarship, you have to submit some documents which are necessary as per your caste.

Campus Life

ETAMAX is a fest conducted by our college annually in February and many other events conducted by different departments. All the books are available in the library. Extracurricular activities have hackathons and small fests. we have clubs like cybersecurity, robotics, Marathi Mandal, sports club, AI and Deep learning club.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Bookworms are welcome, engineers are not

The eligibility was cet and jee marks based only. The last round cutoff for this college in mechanical was around 80%ile in mhtcet. But it was higher than 95%ile in comps for general. The admission process was easy just bring a cheque and fill up few forms and give documents and done. I had choosen many other colleges over this i even got accepted in mit wpu and talen admission but i am a local mumbai person and i woshed to stay here so i gave up that admission. I also didnt get admission in the crce bandra due to only a small difference in the cutoff. And i had no idea about the ACAP rounds. I understood about acap and tried taking admission in vesit chembur in robotics but idk i changed my mind and stayed in fcrit because i thought i dont like coding at all and thus staying in core mechanical would help me sustain my engineering life....Read More
