FCRIT -Best Institue in Navi Mumbai

I appeared for the CAP round and this college was on the top of my list. It was allotted to me in the 1st Round of CAP itself. I appeared through the General category. Cut Off of this college was very high for Information Technology Department. Admission Criteria are under the directives of DTE. The Cut Off of the college differs every year but you have to be 85%+ to enrol in this well known institute. The admission process was quite easy. We have to fill option form then wait for the allotment. After the confirmation, we have to visit the college for completing the process. Counselling was very informative, you will get to know the rules and regulations on the first day itself. Well, everything was well organized.

We're in the 21st century and today everything's about technology. It's seen in almost every aspect of modern life. I was into technology and IT is one the field form and want to make future in IT itself. The faculty: student ratio is 1:60, but they ensure that everyone is clear about the topic. As it's a well known and reputed institute in the surrounding the qualification of all faculties are M.E./M.TECH and P.hD Pursuing. Currently, the education system is online due to pandemics but then too there is no degradation of teaching. After every lecture on the subject, the quiz is conducted related to the topic so that the faculty can understand student understanding related to the topic. Also, revision classes are conducted according to the timetable. About the exams, we have basically Assignments Test, Internal Assessment Tests and Prelims to make us prepare for finals. We have enough writing practice due to all exams.

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research offers internships to eligible students. They provide training and expect us to give weekly reports and assignments and also many other internship opportunities are there. It gives a project which can boost our resume and other skills. College also provides internships and courses for developing the resume.

As per the mentioned Training and Placement policy, the Student is eligible from the 7th Sem of the FInal Year to apply for the campus placements. The well known and reputed MNCs company are LTI, TCS, Godrej, L&T, Atos etc and many more companies. visits our campus every year. The highest package was 7-8L per annum and average 4-5L per annum. 80% of students get placed generally.

The cost of the study is average as per the Engineering colleges which lies around 1L to 1.5L. As I belong General category the fees are 1.37L for one year. For the scholarships you can apply for EBC; later you'll get a 50% refund on the tuition fees if you are eligible for EBC. On request, you can pay the fees in instalments.

FCRIT's annual tech fest is named ETAMAX is a state level event conducted by our college annually in Feb and many other fests are conducted by different departments. All the required books and materials are available in the library. Also, we have access to the National Library. Sports week is also there and different events in fests. As for the extracurricular activities, we have hackathons and small fests. For the social groups, we have clubs in different fields like Cyber Security, Robotics Club, Sports Club, Marathi Mandal. The fest and other events help to boost our Skills and other things.
