Remarks
I applied for Asansol Engineering College because it has a very good placement record and it is nearer to my hometown. I am a general caste student so no quota system is applicable for me. For admission in BCA, there should require at least a math or computer background or statistics at a higher secondary level. The admission process is very smooth here. You can easily communicate with the administration department there and they will guide you about your admission. They are very co-operative and helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BCA and MCA degrees in our college because I always prefer a computer background and in the CA department, the facilities are very cooperative and helpful. They always guide you like a family member. They all are very knowledgeable and highly educated people. If I talk about exams, there are 2 internal exams in one semester and a total of 2 semesters in 1 year. The exams are the moderate type to pass. If you study properly you can easily crack these exams.
Internships Opportunities
TCS, Wipro, Cerner, cts all offers software developer and many other roles according to our performance. The college always arranges some types of small and big project work before campus so that we can clear our doubts.
Placement Experience
From last semester students become eligible for campus placement. TCS, Wipro, CTS, and many more big and small companies are visited for recruitment from here. They offer packages like 5lpa,6lpa,7lpa, etc. The highest package I think is 9lpa and the average package I think is 4lpa. At least 70% of students are placed here. I have planned to get a job after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fees structure is very good here. Semester wise you have to pay the fees and there are some stipulated time slots to pay the fees. Per semester different fees are there. If I talk about campusing, I think this college has a very good campusing record. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, CTS, and many more small and big companies are recruiting from here on a regular basis. There have also been internship opportunities.
Campus Life
There are 2 types of fests in Asansol Engineering College. QUEST is the technical fest and LEGANZA is the cultural fest of Asansol Engineering College. They have many libraries divided by department-wise and there have many different types of books for study. Classrooms are very neat and clean and one blackboard is also present in every classroom. They have different types of labs divided by department wise.
