Internships at SRCC GBO

Shri Ram College of commerce's global business operation conducts the SRCC GBO exam every year for students who want to get admission to the college. SRCC GBO exam comprises of four sections, i.e. English Comprehension and Language Ability, Quantitative Ability, Logical Ability, and Data Interpretation. There are a total of 40 questions in each section, which makes each section 160 marks and the overall exam is 640 marks and for every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded four marks and for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. Examination mode is CBT and declared results after a month and seperate list for each category and then GD and PI round takes place for selection and CBT exam has 75% weightage and rests 15 by PI and 10 by GD. After an all-around final cut-off release by the college. Each category has a seperate cutoff and colleges also release a waiting list if any seat is left vacant.

If I talk about the latest internship scenerio almost 80-90 % students have got internship and some have their own business. Many startup and well established companies visited for internship. Average internship offer this year are 40,000. I have got internship at skilldzire a hyedrabad based learning platform. Many of us got internship work from home. students have selected in almost every type of rolls like HR, marketing, finance, operation etc. Companies like jaipur rugs, Pizza Hut, Oyo, delloite, American express Bajaj capital and many more offered various role for internship.

In our college, all placement and Internship program are deal by placecom society. For internship we are given a two months period after first year in June and jule or maybe in august also like right now I'm doing my internship at skilldzire as a marketing and research intern started on 15 June 2021 to 15 August 2021. And after 3rd semester final placement starts. Eligibility for placement are to follow rule and regulation given by placecom society and if someone disobey rule they will be awarded strikes and and after a definite number of strike you will be disqualified from all placement offers. Placement scenerio in SRCCGBO is very good almost every student have got internship in our batch despite of covid-19. Highest package last year was around 17 lacs by American expression and average package is around 10-11 lacs. Lots of renowned companies hired students from the college like American express, jaipur rugs, oyo, Bajaj finance etc.

MBA from Shri Ram College of commerce global business operation is affordable and the entire cost for MBA is 3,20,000 which is less if we compare to other B-schools. Because SRCCGBO follows a semester system hence students need to pay 80,000 per semester. And Return of investment ROI is very good because college provide more than 10 lacs per annum average package at the final placement. But fee are equal to all categories either from general, bc,sc or st etc.

Like other B-schools, IIMs Shri Ram College of commerce global business operation also have many societies all are run by college students like placcom, Helios for marketing, finatix for the finance department, Udaymita to encourage entrepreneurs, Newsletter team, training, and placement team, Agarta for HR students and many more. I'm also part of the newsletter society where my designation is as a content writer for the newsletter. Every year seniors from society selected junior by giving them two rounds. In the first round they are asked to do some assignment or project which are interesting to do and after that Person interview by senior society members and then they select some students to run the society and this is the selection process for all societies.

For admission in the Post-graduation MBA program at Shri Ram College of commerce's global business operation we have to first clear the online exam then GD and PI rounds. But due to covid-19 hence GD and PI rounds did not take place either in 2020 or in the 2021 admission process students directly shortlisted by an online exam, weightage was given to online admission exam only. But before covid students went through both GD and PI rounds and both hold 25% weightage for the final cutoff.
