Not to many people where able to qualify the internship program which is provided in the 3rd year . But now the pattern has changed and the last semester is completely based on internship .

With Respect to my Branch (C.S.E) its really good. Almost all the top MNC companies come to college For Eg: Facebook, Microsoft, Directi, Flipkart, Amazon , Sapient, followed by the mass recruiters and etc.

College Events

Basically there are two fest organised each year, one is technical and other is cultural they are Panthon and Bitotsav . Bitotsav is huge , its a 5 day event with every night have different theme. Last is the Mega night and any of the big celebrities are called for the performance .

No, I am not aware of any such benefits.

Gender Ratio : 70:30 Related to parties: not to promising Workshops : great learning experience No such gender discrimination w.r.t to college.

Hostels are good with fees nominal and the mess food are slightly below average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

BIT Mesra is mesmerizing!!

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

At BIT Mesra for our departments many cpre companies like Tatva Chintan, Laxmi Organics and Kanoria Chemicals were among some listed companies that came for placements. Luckily we are less in numbers and therefore 90% students from our batch were placed from here. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters from US.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

GPAT score is what taken into account and in 12th 60% or more is mandatory. Also JEE scores are considered but again baby IITs level of score is required and therefore students mostly come through GPAT here....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
