Course Curriculum Overview

The qualification of the faculty is at standard level & teaching method is also somewhat different than my previous college CAET GODHRA, AAU. It was nit difficult to pass exam because there was a relative markings.

Internships Opportunities

Actually I'm in master of Technology program so I'm not eligible for Internship because it's for B. Tech students only. We need to do research work in last year of our program.

Placement Experience

From last year of any program students are eligible to seating in placements. There are number of company visited. Most of them are software related or finance sector related which is called non core sector (70%). And rest of the companies are for core engineering sector. Highest package around 1 cr and lowest is 5 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, through GATE exam we got monthly stiffened of 12,400 INR. And fee is around 35000 inr per semester including lodging and mess fee. The fees of previous two sem less due to this pandemic situation.

Campus Life

Yes, it was really enjoyable. I spent only one year in campus but this time was unforgettable throughout my life. I'm a sports enthusiasts amd i also represented IIT kharagpur in 54th inter IIT sports meet in volleyball game. The student activity centre called gymkhana is very famous for all the activities.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I alloted lal bahadur shasrti hall of residence, which is combined for btech and mtech students and one of the largest hall of residence in campus by population. The room was triple sharing. And all the facilities are there for all hall of residence.

Heritage Law College is Lovely!!

Placement Experience:

Number of students who have been placed is far less than what it should be ideally. Kolkata is a paradise for law practice as it is the largest city of India and lawyers have always been in demand here. Still only 30% of the students are placed here and that's a big issue considering the name of our college.

The main thing that I love about the curriculum is that we need to study in depth. Our syllabus contains most basic to really professional level stuff which really help us prepare for real life experiences and further academic pursuits. Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

The curriculum taught here is outdated and is not the present industry knowledge which is a bad thing. Teachers also teach in the outdated method and in bookish manner and focus on just passing. Exams are held here after every 6 months on semester wise.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

I am satisfied with the Kingston. It is very helpful for students who want to do Hospital Management Course Placements: 100 percent of students got internships in various reputed hospital. Infrastructure: When I visited the campus for the first time,. It was really a good experience. The auditorium was very good. Every class has an Wi-Fi facility. Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and qualified as well. Classes are conducted from time to time. The curriculum was very easy so it is easy to grasp. And understand. Other colleges I applied for is IIT Delhi because it is nearer to my home and is well reputed college and have a great field in Tech.I opt this college because I am interested in Tech field. I finally chose IIT KGP beacuse it is providing me better branch than IIT Delhi and I got interested in this college beacuse my teacher in myh senior schoo is also from IIT KGP they taught me a lot of stories of there college time and I talked to some seniors of college for admissionb regarding prespective so they advised for IIT KGP.Therefore I chose IIT KGP over IIT Delhi.
