Course Curriculum Overview

One may take any courses in any department which is perhaps one of the best things about coursework. There are certain criterias need to be fulfilled for completion of coursework. The progress is looked by committee and the system is transparent. Overall academics is good with faculties being very experienced in their domains. One thing which needs imporvement is inclusion of more international faculties and students.

Placements are good but depends on many factors including your area of study, grades, projects, internships, recommendations, skills. Overall, opportunities will be there for developing every crucial skills regardless of your previous background.

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

M.com is a diverse course you can do many things after completing your post graduation in M.com. M.com is the course which gives you real time knowledge and can be applied practically. Teaching methids of teachers are quite good but sometimes they do not focus on the topic they should. Two exams are held every semester and for each paper you are given 3 hours to solve and the difficulty level is moderate.

I applied for other iit's also but choose to stick with iit bombay because of the amount of resources , clubs , tech teams and the professors here. For addmission in IIT Bombay, u need to clear JEE advanced. Irrespective of branch for general male maximum rank is around 3.5k for general female it is around 6k.
