Remarks

Best private college in India to pursue Mtech in Energy Systems Engineering. Good infrastructure for masters. Faculties are average except few who are exceptional. No placements. Excellent alumni connection around the globe. Good for people who thrive to find their way out themselves through these alumni base. And exclusive for people who want to pursue doctorate after their Mtech.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose the course based on my bachelors degree and my work experience. Faculty to students ratio- 1:3. The teaching methods used are skill and industry based. Timely evaluation pattern keeps student right on the edge.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I did internship twice, with FICCI and ICF. The opportunities provided by both of these giants in the energy sector is extremely praiseworthy. I was involved in live projects immediately after recruitment. My mentors were extremely humble and motivating. Moreover, the experience to work and deliver with finesses and quality gets inculcated in your system once you finish the internships. Extremely satisfied with the internships. Unfortunately, the university didn't find the internships like they hardly try for the placements, except on few occasions. But, individual faculties and alumnus put their efforts in for the students to provide internships with the giants of the energy sector.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement opportunity is too shallow. The strong alumni foundation helps in gaining a decent core job package. Companies like ICF, EY, PWC, KPMG, Sterling and Wilson, Deloitte and few of the other best core sector companies are accessible only through alumnis. The alumnis are cool and cooperative, hence students get to access these contacts through department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees charged is well within the limits for a Mtech course in a private university. No scholarship opportunities. Minimal campus placements in this course. The strong alumni connect help compensate the mediocore on-campus placement offers.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus facilities provided is world class. The opportunities for accessing journals and books from libraries is simple and student oriented. The library is too good. Opportunities to indulge in extracurricular activities, may it be in sports, science events, social clubs and classroom ambience is one of the best.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I opted for rented accommodation in Bidholi itself, the place where the campus is for engineering folks. It's decently costly. For a period of 2 years, one must prepare a budget of 2-2.5 lakhs overall for food and accommodation in rental facilities around the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is agriculture and I choose these because of agriculture is back bone of india and there is so reduction observed in agriculture in few years because of people forget there own culture and depend on artificial food material. In my college there is very good practical activity is done which is most important for the agriculture.these college is good for agriculture and the surrounding of the college also given the feeling of agriculture

Placement Experience:

The college has consistent placement record , reflecting strong academic, industrial training exposure. The placement cell also provide guidance for further and better opportunities, I guess there is no college which give direct placement for agriculture, yes we get to collaborate with many good training institutes and as far as i have seen majority of students go for Maters for the same course. In courses like AME, BHM, BCA & IT the college has significantlly good score, pharmacy department also has good no. of placements in MAX, Apollo, Cipla, Zydus lie companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

Every course has different criteria for placement, there is a placement cell in the college which guide well and keep us updated for the drives. We have 100% placement record in AME,BHM , Pharmacy & BCA & IT courses. In my course we become eligible during 4th year (7th semester) where we can appear for the drive.Majority of students go for further studies in my course.
