Placement opportunity vary from program to program for my program ie Mtech iitk IME it was very good for past year but this year 2020 due to covid in my batch out of 18 students 3 were unplaced i am 1 of them

GATE qualified student get 12400 rs per month of scholarship by government of india for m tech students, fees can be paid from your scholarship and still you can save money to spend at you leisure, avg package is 12 lpa

Campus Life

Social life depends on what you like but there is something for everyone here on campus, all culbs and activities are there sports facility is 1 of the best , my favourite part was swimming pool the experiance of swimming in amazing swimming pool of iit k is memorable

Hostel Facilities

hostle life is best, food is amazing and rooms are on sharing basis for 2-3 months initially but after that we are given seperate room per person, hostel fee + mess fee is around 30000 per semeste ie 6 months

Admission

GATE exam, i got AIR 1500, score was 70.62/100 and 743/1000

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

Let's talk about IERT Prayagraj

Placement Experience:

Here you'll get placement cell for placement training. But most the students studying here aren't interested in placement. Most students go for GATE examination or UPSC examination. Even I have plan to go for UPSC examination. There are many rankers passed from here. I think the highest package in 2024 was of 12LPA and average was 4LPA. There is not very high paying visit from any company. But in off campus there are some students who have cracked 45LPA per annum package at Amazon. I my opinion if you are passionate about any government examination then definitely you can opt for this college . And if you want placement then make your self perfect and go for off campus.

Remarks:

The only bad remark i have for the university is that the management is not good and a lot of repairing is to be done on outers of A block, while a good remark would be the faculties expertise in their subjects.

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. The cut-off for IITK varies-from branch to branch. For example the CSE of IITk open from Jee advanced general rank of 115 to 250....Read More

Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats. Admission process for B.Tech at IITK is through JEE Advanced exam, after qualifying JEE Mains. You also neend to satisfy cutoff for branches. Admissions are handled by JoSAA Counselling....Read More
