I gave JEE Mains 2015 and got 74 marks in it. This exam is held in April every year. According to the marks I obtained this was the best college I could go for. This college offers you to go outside India after two years of degree and that too with lesser expense. They also offer you to work on patents.

Course Structure is good and worthy to go for but doesn't focuses on research that much. At the starting of third year students have to choose from various electives to choose you career in Computer Science. You may choose from Programming, Networking, Data Mining and various other options. You may go for projects in CURIN department from which you can get exposure to research.

Yes college provide a good chance for internship. You may go out of India for internship and for various exchange programs. Stipend depends on the country in which you will be going in. In India you may get stipend upto 8k.

Placements and Job Opportunities here are good. Best package was of 24 lakhs last year. It all depends on your capabilities at end. Chitkara doesn't leave any scope for more companies to be called. On an average 400 companies visit the campus yearly and average package is around 4 lakhs and placement touches 100%.

Events here are held frequently. Recently, "The Local Train", a music band came here and it was a mind blowing experience. You won't be able to feel requirement of more events but at that time too you have to take care of your attendance. Duty leaves wil be approved if you are going to participate in it.

Fee structure would be not-so-difficult-not-so-easy to manage if you belong to a middle class family. B.Tech fees here would grab approximately 8 lakhs from your pocket in 4 years without hostel and transportation. Hostel would cost you around 42k in 6 months including laundry and mess. Transportation will cost you around 20-30k approx depending on which area you will be coming from.

College doesn't offer any special scholarship for students but various competitions are organised and offer you cash prizes which may aid you for fees.

Campus Life here is difficult for a Free Mind Person. You won't be allowed to go out of the hostel after 10 PM. Most important thing "Your parents will be intimated every time you go out of the campus" which would one take attention of almost every student. To some it may appear like boundation.

Mess food appears to be good in starting but when you get used to it. Same thing with that taste won't appeal you anymore. Here, we have a good cafeteria "Square 1" with affordable food prices. Recently a floor in that building is allotted to LaPinoz Pizza.

Yes, alumni network and seniors are helpful but only if you are willing to contact them. At hostel you won't find yourself with seniors specially if you go for CSE in B.Tech.

Exam Structure is too hectic here. You would need to give sessionals(40 marks) 3 times in the one complete semester among which 2 would be evaluated in final. After sessionals you will be going for End Term(60 marks) which would account for 60% in your result. Your attendance must be up to the mark t o appear for end term.

In class 12th while filling the forms for various universities I filled form for this university to keep it as an option. After getting my marks in JEE, counselling date was assigned to my JEE score. Counselling was held in chandigarh at Chitkara International School in chandigarh. At counselling a demand draft for fees of first semester was paid. At the time of starting of college hostel or transportation fees was paid.

Faculty here are well qualified but sometime will be very strict on various disciplines. You will get good faculty to work with. Teachers in CURIN will be proved helpful if you want to go for research. Students work on paid projects with teachers. You will be allotted a mentor to have conversation with Admin Department at college. Your mentor would take 1 lecture in a week to ask you about any problem.
