The admission process is offline. You go to the college for the admission with an SBI collect receive of payment of 30,000, JEE main rank certificate and 10th and 12th certificate xerox then they verify you are data and you got admission in that college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.Tech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering due to my own interest. There are lost of career opportunities after BTech Metallurgical and Meterials Engineering like coal mines industry, TATA Steel industries, NAlCO private limited etc.

Internships Opportunities

There lost of opportunities for internship (Offline or online) both are available. Different kinds of industrial tours are organized by the college. Studentrs of different streams and courses are guided and promoted to do internship program as per their cirriculum. Students are allowed to visit companies. Project reports are prepared bythe students and submitted in college for final viva during their end semester examinations.

Placement Experience

Between 6th to 8th semester you are eligible for campus placement. 90% students get placement. Company visited - TATA STEEL, NALCO, INFOSYS etc. My plans after BTech is MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure : Admission fee -40000/-. Hostel fee- 30000/-. Total fee- 70000/-. The annual income after this is totally based on your Knowledge.

Campus Life

The annual fest name is horizon. All types of Books are available in library like Comics, Series (Harry Potter), Story Book, Novels, and all type of study book related to your subject. Class room are good in class room there are smart TV. There are all type of sports and curricular activities in campus like dancing, singing writing, hacking etc.

Hostel Facilities

All types of facilities are provided in the room.process for hostel is based on JEE main rank. In hostel meal is good and hygienic, breakfast, lunch, diner are provided in hostel evening snacks you have to buy or order.

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

Stduents get eligible from 5th semester for placements peaking at 6th semester of the college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Tiger Analytics etc came but big pacakge placements offers are low . The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.

Nearly 105 companies have already visited our college as per the current placement cell information. My Honest Experience at KIIT University B.Tech CSE

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

A Decent Experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. My College Life.

Placement Experience:

Students after 5th semester are allowed to get pre placement training. And then from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited to our college for recruitment are like TCS, Accenture,Zenus, Infosys etc Average package in my college is 8LPA and the highest package of this year is 25LPA. Almost 70 percent students get placement. My plan is to get a job as a Software Engineer in Google with a package of 30LPA.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is a government college but provides much more facilities like private colleges.

In odisha we have a specific counselling procees named as OJEE counselling. In this we have to apply for many colleges as we want. Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
