Entrance Preview

I choose for Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET). I score 732 Rank all over India conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka, New Delhi in the month of March 2016. I opt. for this college according to previous year seat allotment for all the three counselling my rank is suitable for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opt. for the Information Technology (IT) which is closely related to the Computer Science programme. This course structure are available on the college website or on the internet you will sure find the structure in today's developing India their higher demand in IT sector.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provide the internship to the final year students. But I am in second years so I did not know much about it.

Placement Experience

The Training & Placement Division assists in Campus Placements for the graduating students at NIEC. Training & Placement Officials and the Volunteers provide whole-hearted assistance to the recruiters for Pre-placement Discussions, Conducting Tests & Interviews and Hospitality of the Campus hiring Team.

Fees and Financial Aid

I get the merit scholarship but from this year the Govt. decided to give the scholarship only for SC student those who are general category will not able to get scholarship. In year 2016, I had get merit scholarship of rupees 7000/- (sum of sum rupees are not transferred in my account) in Guru Nanak Dev Institute of Technology while pursuing for diploma.

Campus Life

The gender ratio of the college is good. The diversity of college is also good. The extracurricular activities are performed by the student according their interest. In are college they are different society for different activities like for music the name of the society is abhyantric and fashion society named imperials.

Hostel Facilities

The do not contain any hostel facilities for the students outside the Delhi as they have to take the rent room nearby college. The mess food of our college is cheap and the quality of food is good. Many items of food which is provided by the mess of the college for the student. The fresh juice is also provided for healthy growth of the student. Those who is vegetarian get many choices of food.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Faculty

The teachers of our college is smarter as to teach the new generation students. Sure they had get the training of teaching very well. Some of our teacher have great knowledge in their subject but few of them are not have a great knowledge in their subject and teach the student by looking in the subject books if the subject book have a wrong explanation of a topic then the teachers teaches the students wrong.

From Classrooms to Campus ; my dtu journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
