I took JEE Mains and scored 140 marks. Well, this college is Govt. Aided Autonomous Institute and is quite reputed. It stands 89th in India d is one of the top institutes in Maharashtra.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up to date. In the first year all the students irrespective of their branches are divided into 10 sections. We shared common subjects. The examination procedure is Mid term (30 marks) and End Term(70 marks). From second year onwards we have departmental subjects. Also we have open electives as well as departmental elective.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides internship under Centre of Excellence. The average stipend is around 10,000/-. Well, I did not apply for internship here .
Placement Experience
The average package offered is around 3.5 lacs. Many companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Hindustan Computers Limited, Hella, Thermax, Reliance, International Business Machine, Bharat Forge Limited, Johnson & Johnson and many more come here for recruiting.
College Events
Various technical, cultural, management festivals are held in our college. And the response is quite huge. Our college organises National Level Technical Fiesta: Pragya every year were students from distances come here to exhibit their technical skills. Pragya is of 3 days and is held during the day hours. In the night we have Utsav which is the cultural event of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very feasible. For Open its 60,000, OBC 27,000, SC/ST 3000. The fees is low comparative to the private Engineering Institutions and also the facilities are outstanding. The hostel fees is eight thousand rupees per year. Mess fees is fifteen thousand rupees per year which includes deposits of 5000/-.

Campus Life
The Gender ratio is around 60:40. A lot of parties happen in the college starting from fresher's party, hostel fresher's, Ravandahan, Chocolate party, farewell party, New Year Party. Workshops are held a lot. There is no discrimination based on gender, religion, caste,etc. College undertakes various activities.

We have a very strong Alumni Network spread across the world. Alumni Meet is held every year in college. Also our college arranges alumni meet in USA for our Alumni in USA.
Exam Structure
Well, during submission its quite hectic. The exam pattern is in two halves. End Term and Mid Term. The Mid Term is of 30 marks and the End Term is of 70 marks.The year is divided into two semesters. We have grade system. And each semester's result is called SGA and the combine result is CGA.
Faculty
Shri Buri Gobind Singhji Institute of Engg. And Technology have around 70 PHD holding faculties. The faculty here has ample of knowledge and great passion in their teaching. I'm SGGS you will never feel like bunking a lecture cause the way faculty teaches will keep u spellbound.
