Remarks

The admission process for engineering is very much hectic. Those who want to take the admission in engineering should go for the information brochure of technology which will be available on Google also. That brochure will help you regarding the required documents according to your class, as a student you come in which class, income according to working persons of your family. Some colleges take their own test for admissions like CET or JEE according to their requirements. They give their cut-off marks and the admission process starts.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I have chosen this course because mechanical engineers can go into any field in which they want to go in the future. My college is not a famous college in the locality even all the principal and staffs are also not correct but my college has plus point that is teachers who are eager to teach the eager student. My so many teachers have done BE/ME. For engineering, the term exam is very much difficult. But if you are regularly studying then you should not fair. Only you have to analyze the exam(what is the pattern, which questions get repeated, what should be studied for the exam first etc.)

Fees and Financial Aid

Nowadays taking education is not a thing which a poor person or the person who is earning on daily basis for fulfilling the needs of the family can afford. I am from a middle-class family. In the education system, we have a very baseless method which is the caste method. According to your caste your fee structure changes. If you are from sc/ st category then you are very much lucky even though your parents are earning lakhs per month and if you are from a general category then think before going to engineering because you have to pay lacks per year in which you didn't get any discount. In my college, their are 3 categories of students:- 1) sc/ st / vjnt - no tution fees 2) OBC - 40000/- 3) open/general - 80000/- This is for tuition fees. The rest of all charges are the same for all casts which include development charge, stationary charge, etc. Scholarships that are present are Maharashtra colleges is mahadbtmahait scholarship scheme.

Campus Life

2.5

My college has is situated outside the highway in a peaceful place. Where there is no traffic or noise disturbance that you will get while studying. We didn't have a sports ground but my college arranges a 3day sports competition for students which contains various games. My college has its personal website for any inquiry regarding the facilities and faculty but no one writes about negatives in himself. There are lots of clubs which are working in my college like as students council, orator club, drama club etc, But frankly speaking, my college doesn't give the right direction for the students for their carrier.

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

That aspect that made me choose this course that the it very oriented with the project based learning which prepare students for the industry level knowledge and ready for the job . It really prepare for the real world problem which are needed in the industry. Some improvements can also be added as the era is of AI the curriculum can be shaped based on the AI for future proof. The frequency of the exam is every 6 months it is very good to have exams every 6 months as students get to check their knowledge on timely basis the difficultly level is manageable.
