Remarks

The admission process was smooth and well-conducted. They asked me for the required documentation and signatures. The teachers guided me through all the necessary details prior to filling the form. There were counseling days before admission and they gave me the time slot when I have to visit the college. I opted for the computer science branch and I was asked to wait for a while..and then the registrar's office reviewed my documents. The admission process was hassle-free and I was told to come the next day for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 3 exams called CIA's..abbreviated for..class internal assessment held every two months..in a semester..which is of the duration 6 months..then the annual written examination which is of 100 marks all subjects. For my course..there are 6 theory subjects and 4 practical ones. The difficulty level is medium and if the student works consistently, most of the external questions asked are directly from the textbooks provided and prescribed.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 137500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee policy depends upon the way in which you take admission. If it is from the scholarship provided..there are norms that provide a particular amount of decrease in the fees depending on the course. For my course, it is 1 lakh 37 thousand for each semester. There are many scholarships, as prescribed by AKTU, some reserved for girls only. I am still in my second year so haven't been employed yet.

Campus Life

There are 27 societies comprising of both technical and non-technical areas in the college to promote non-academic zeal in students. An annual fest takes place called Zealicon in the college which is quite fun.

Placement Experience:

The student eligible for placement from 7th semester . The mass recruiter company like capgimeni , tc, wipro,cognizant are coming the average package is around 4 lpa. You work hard to get placement and you have to gain skill by your own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

Brutal and honest review of jss college

Talking about fees it is much less than other collges and placement is also goood and hostel food and timing is really good compared to other colleges.
