Dr. Harisingh Gour - is it the best in this category?

The admission process was quite easy for me as everything was so straight forward that you don't have to be panicked. The faculty was so supportive at the time of admission. I have available the quota in OBC category and that have helped me lowering my annual fees. The admission criteria is such that it asks for minimum 80% in 12th. The counselling was online through MP online portal which made it more easy and effortless.

I chose this course because I always wanted to follow my idol as well as my relatives suggested me the course. The faculty to student ratio is 14:100. The faculty is highly qualified which makes it easy to learn and understand well. It was quite average difficulty level when it comes to exams as they make sure to only pass the deserving students to the next semester.

There are lot of internship opportunities that provides knowledge and right path to the students that help us in the future as well as provide us with extra marks. I love internships as they are quite interesting from the regular life of an average student. My first internship was under an NGO which helped widows look for work and feed their children (if they have any).

From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are a lot of companies that visit our campus like Google, infotech, SBI, wipro, etc. The highest package was 30 lacs and the average package is 6 lack per annum. 60% students studying in this college get placements. My plans are job hunting after the completion of the degree.

The college is not that expensive to study as well as the government helps us with the scholarship. The name of the scholarship is Mukhya Mantri Jan Kalyan Yojana (MMJKY). I don't worry much about the job placements as the college is reputed and companies come to hire employees on a regular basis.

Life at campus Is good. There occurs various occasions like annual fest, tech fest, hackathon and various sports related activities. There are most of the books available in the college library. There exists football as well as cricket tournaments which are intercollege tournaments that helps a person to develop sportsmanship and improves their mental and physical health. There are groups like baseball club, Cricket club, Comp club and Hacky club.

The main topics of GD and interview questions were based on the daily life problems which consists of the knowledge of economy in one way or the other. The criteria for admission is based on the percentage basis one achieves in 12th class. I prepared for these rounds by taking help from the seniors and studying hard.
