Remarks

The college and management also have its own drawbacks like other government-based institutions. It is basically due to the negligence of the government towards its functioning bodies.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course and curriculum were of moderate nature, that included research based on the knowledge delivered by the professors. Exams were easy to moderate but checking and marking schemes were strict. Question paper consisted of some direct and some case study based questions.

Placement Experience

1

There was no proper placement offered to the students. Students went on to make their careers on their own if they needed any.

College Events

3.5

There were cultural fests conducted on a timely basis. As it is a government college, the management used to invite various political and royal personalities, that were locally based. Performances based on various cultural and regional parts of India were performed in those functions. Dance, singing, poetry, dramas, etc. were performed based on the theme.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was way too feasible and other expenses like admission and exams fees were also too less. Annual course fees were approx. Rs.800 and other expenses were between Rs.200-300. Still, the academic fees of the college are annually Rs.2000-3000 and exam fees which are paid online on the MP Online website, is approx. Rs.3000-4000.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not opt for any scholarships. As it was a government girls college, our fees were already very subsidized and we also used to get many other perks, like, personal insurance on very low instalment rates.

Campus Life

2

Campus life was simple and sports among the girls were encouraged. Students were offered to participate in beauty pageants, talent shows, Inter/Intra college or city sports competitions. Proper trainers were also appointed. Participation in art and painting exhibitions were also quite popular.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students advised us if we asked them. They were friendly and used to help us with notes but we could not contact many, there were a few who used to interact nicely with us.

Admission

Candidates interested for admission have to fill offline admission forms, which were submitted at the college reception window. After that, there is an online or offline registration done at Jiwaji University, which is compulsory for every student. Registration for new admissions usually starts in the months of June and July.

Faculty

3.5

There were highly qualified professors, who were also honoured with a Ph.D. in the respective subjects they taught. There were well experienced and conducted research thoroughly as well as written research papers explaining their research work. The faculty delivered lectures based on their subject knowledge and also shared their research work with the students.

Placement Experience:

No Regular Campus Placement – Why? The college mainly offers traditional degree programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce, where structured campus recruitment is less common. Most students opt for postgraduate studies, B.Ed, research, or prepare for government jobs (e.g., UPSC, MPPSC, UGC-NET). Lack of dedicated placement cell or industry tie-ups also limits organized recruitment activity.
