Amity an experience for life time

The admission process was quite simple for me as my choice was amity only. The minimum criteria for amity are 60% for non-sponsored, there is an interview round held for students who apply before the class 12th results are announced. As for me, My course was English Hons. so the questions were mostly related to grammar and Classic novels.

Reading and writing have always been my hobby, hence I decided to work on it take and make it a career option as well. there were maximum of 50 students in every class and 43 faculty members including the Head of the Department. Every teacher held a PhD. in their specialized subjects. Amity has always been very particular about presentations, Group discussions, and Research papers, so apart from Internal examinations and external examinations, we had to prepare and present a paper for every subject and also make two research papers on topics of our choice every semester. It was an interesting process for me because of my interest in writing and reading, it groomed me for public speaking as well. the only difficult aspect of amity was the 75% attendance rule because that made things a little stressful.

In the first semester, we were charged with the allotted fees plus the security charges of twenty thousand. Fees increase with Rupees five thousand in every odd semester. Amity being a Private university did not provide any on-campus jobs with stipends but we were introduced to various companies for placements in the last semester. the scholarship policy of Amity university is for students who score 93% aggregate and above and it is granted on annual basis. To continue the scholarship students have to secure a position in the top 5% of the merit list for 100% scholarship and in the 10% merit list for 50% scholarship.

Amity has one of the biggest campuses in India. It has Arcadia, theatres, various eating ventures like dominos, cafe coffee day, subway, etc. we also have one of the biggest and beautiful Libraries. we are issued with a library card at the very beginning of the semester and we are allowed to use the computers, books, printers in the library. Amity is a fully air-conditioned university with digital classrooms. Two of the main fests celebrated in Amity are Amity Youth Fest and Sangathan Sports Day. Youth Fest is fully organized by the students and Sports day is coordinated with teachers because students(amity students) from all over the world visit Noida campus for it.
