It was WBJEE entrance conducted by the State Board and people getting a rank of about 10-15000 and beyond can get admission to this college.

The course curriculum is same for every colleges in the city rather in the state. Moreover few departments in my college has got NBA accredited and i belong to that department only. So overall you'll get a good experience. Moreover the whole syllabus is divided equally into theory classes and labs, so that won't be of much trouble.

College hardly provide any good internships, Beware of that. Some good networking with seniors or resourseful person should be done beforehand to get some kind of good internships. Moreover college provided internships are basically a vague training based program where you need to enroll by paying fees. So i hope i made myself clear.

Well coming to this point I would say the only place where this college sucks is it's placement. The TPO won't be of much help in providing good career opportunities and most of the firms which visit for recruitment are either fake or are new startups. One major recruiter is Tech Mahindra, other IT companies don't come to college but one can enroll in the process of pool campus drive.

College celebrates a variety of events. The main focus being driven to the annual college cultural fest, which is one of the biggest in the town. Later summing up there would be celebration of Freshers, Teachers Day, Foundation Day, Saraswati Puja, Vishwakarma Puja and many more.

Scholarships are just for minority students or backward students. Tuition Fee Waiver is limited to few person and that is 5% of the stream strength i guess. Other loan facilities are available provided by banks and normal procedures needed to be followed.

We used to have 2 semesters in a year happening in the month of May and December. Before a month of that the practicals would be conducted by the college itself and moreover in each semesters, students will have to appear for 2 internal exams conducted by the college itself.

Firstly according to the rank the college was displayed in the portal and we needed to confirm our entry by giving a mentioned form and amount to the college. Then one day they would screen the students in their college premises itself and that will be followed up by filling up few forms and so on.

Faculties are good and caring. They don't let anyone down if approached for help. They play a very supportive role, at least for me it did. There are adequate number of faculty member in the college based on departments. You'll get overall good experience with the academic family.
