Entrance Preview

There is entrance exam and I got 111 rank in entrance exam and there was counselling held by PTU and I had attend the counselling at jalandhar . After that I got selected in RIMT.

Placement Experience

That time we don't get any internship . Overall experience was good but that time there is very less campus placement because companies are not use to came. No campus placement there we have to fight for job that time.

College Events

There are so many events held by college some are Annual function, Sports day, Holi function, Lori function, Diwali fest, University level function State level fest, Quiz competition and there Guruparv celebration, Technical festival, New year function, Prize distribution function.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible we no need to take any mention about the fee. Very flexible fee structure if some time we are not able to pay the fee . College administration don't force us to pay the fee in fact they never take any type of fine from us. They are very helpful to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are some scholarship in college for the students those are belong to poor family and those students .Who got the top in the exams or got university topper get the scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is too good. We got sports room. We got the gym facilities in boys hostel and as well as girls hotel also had a separate gym in girls hostel. One medical officer is also residing in hostel for the students. There are 50-50 ratio of the girls and boys.

Alumni/Alumna

Our college have alumni network but I do not think so that this network help to there juniors. Because our senior are maximum in abroad and they are busy in their own day today life.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good and labs are good and very well equipped. We got well equipped labs were we get practical knowledge.

Faculty

Faculty was too good, they provide us fully knowledge about the subject and they are fully comparative .

A Well Structured Curriculum

Likes

good infrastructure as well as good teachers
good placement in MNC's company and provide exam preparation for interview cracking
course curriculum is good and also provide training on professional development

Dislikes

too much expensive means high fees structure
SC/ST fees only 3000 and Hiamchali students fees 50000 per sem

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements only for 60 per cent of the above them in 10th and 12th so that time I was very disappointed. my plan after my degree is placement in an MNC. actually I am not eligible for the placement

A journey towards my dreams

Likes

College staff is very co operative to students
They help in student's mental development
They encourage students for participating in different opportunities

Remarks:

University's envioremnt is very positive . University must work on industrial and professional training for their students so even if they don't place they can have good exposure of industries from companies like tcs , john deer, tech Mahindra , Birla soft , Infosys etc on new technologies . They should think about MCA department which is lacking behind in the race of placements and quality education.

RIMT COLLEGE

I chose this college because it was at rank 3 in Punjab Technical University ranks and also many fellow state people had chosen this college. But that was not only reason. This college was overall best in academic purposes. There is not a good reputation of colleges in many areas of punjab. They keep there record good by handing good marks to there alumins in internals. But RIMT college was not like that. If you are good enough only you will getting through. Admission process is simple. Simple interview to know you enough. Then you are admitted....Read More

Overall the campus is really good

Admission process is very easy. There is no entrance exam for any course. I got my admission there through consultancy which helped me a lot there and saved my fee also for 1st semester. The candidate must have done his 12th from recognized board You can get the application updates from the RIMT official website. There is no need to improve admission process it is really good...Read More
