AJAY KUMAR's Review On Kakatiya Institute Of Technology & Science - [KITSW], Warangal

The entrance test is EAMCET and my rank is around 20 k. The spcific reason is it is near my residence.

The course curriculum was good. When i was pursuing my engineering we had 7 semesters where the first year contains one semester and remaining three years contains two semesters each. In our final year we are asked to do our main project and presentations were given regularly on the improvement and advancement in our project.

The college does not provide any internships. We must search for summer projects and the faculty will help in the process. There will be no paid internships.

There will be technical fests celebrated by each department once in a year. There will be graduation day sports day and cultural fests celebrated at the end of the academic year. There will be fests like parikaran etc celebrated by each department from december. Students will be the intiaters and participants of the fest.

Educational loan is provided by any bank and there will be no availability of scholarships given to any student in the college.

The campus life is very good through four years. There is good gender ratio and female ratio will be somewhat higher in some branches like computer science ot much diversity is seen in the college. Sports is given very high importance and many sports like cricket football volley ball are o a higher note.

The alumni are also very helpful and are connected through the faculty and students pursuing in the college. The regular alumni meets are helpful and they boost us all the way.

The exam structure is satisfying. The frequency of exams will be more like we writes two semesters i a academic year which will be normally twelve subjects and mids will be twice in a semester and these will be twenty four exams. The labs are tested internally and externally.

Through EAMCET and the whole process is done by the state govt. initially i applied for EAMCET when the notification was released and got the hall ticket. It contains the location where we should appear for the exam. I appeared for the exam and made an attempt. After few days the results were announced. There started the process of admission. everyone were asked to go for certificates verification.

The faculty are very good and very encouraging both in our academics as well as in our personal grooming too. Their encouragement is very satisfying in overall performance of each student both in the college as well as outside the college after passing out from the institute.
