I cleared JEE with a rank of 12409. I always had a fetish for programming, so I had 2 choices (BCA & B.Tech). I ended up choosing the latter one because I realised that B.Tech would be the perfect platform that I have always desired.

The course B.Tech is the ideal course for aspiring programmers. It provides all the basic requirements one needs to have when he/she wants to pursue programming as a career. In the first year of the course, the students are taught all the streams of this course in order to procure basic knowledge in this field. From the second year onwards, the students get their hands on the core subjects.

No, my college doesn't provide internship. But, it does provide all other amenities that one needs in other to certify an institution as one of the excellent institutions in the city.

I myself got a job at Infosys. Initially Tech Mahindra came to our college in the 2016 recruitment drive offering 3.65 lacs per annum. Next came Ericsson providing 1.6 lacs per annum. After that came Infosys providing 1.98 lacs per annum. Next, Genpact is coming.

My college has an annual fest /tech fest every year. Students from all other colleges and universities participate in our fest. The fest includes activities such as robotics competition, programming competition, fashion show, music band festivals, coc championship, gaming competition etc.

It's expensive. The first 2 semester fee was 36000 each. The third semester fee was 38000. The fourth one was 40000. The fifth one was 41000. The sixth and seventh were 42000 each. The eight is going to be 42000 too. Hence, according to my point of view, the fee structure should be slightly low so as to accommodate less privileged students too.

Yes, my college provides almost free education to the less privileged students. Some of my fellow classmates have to pay 1000 at the end of each semester whereas I have to pay a whooping 40000 almost twice a year.

Many extra curricular activities are being held in my college. Especially during the Tech Fest. Activities such as robotics competition, programming competition, fashion show, music band festivals etc are being held at my college. The campus life is great. We as students get to do many such activities that allow us to enjoy our academical life.

We basically have 8 semesters in this 4 year course. Each semester has 2 internal exams along with 1 main exam. The Internal exam consists of 15 marks each and the main exams comprises of both theoretical and practical subjects.

I filled up the form for the entrance exam initially. The results came out after 2 months. I sat for campusing and got CIEM in the second round. In the first round I got a college very far away from where I reside so I took a chance and opted for the second round.

My college's faculty is very helpful in every aspect. Teaching is the primary objective of all the teachers no matter whichever college they teach in, but when it comes to my college, the teachers support the students morally along with providing knowledge.
