Remarks

I Applied for the IIT Nit skit but my selection is by MEA because of JEE mains. I am from the general category and I complete jee mains that's why I got admission in Mea, But Mea engineering college is a wonderful college in Kerala, Good lecture, teachers, campus, .. etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer engineering, I like hacking so I chose this course. In MEA, teachers are very friendly, and helpful, teachers are taking doctorates from IIT college, and very knowledgeable. The examination is very strict, the full camera is available.

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 93000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Highlight mall, Amazon, Flipkart, IT companies, construction companies are recreated people from MEA engineering college, and they very happy about that, internship are also available here. Extrenia event is available here, it is an international event.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many Scholarships are available here. And get scholarship to all qualified people I like that is from MEA college, Because all applied people get scholarship that is very important, that is available here.

Campus Life

Books library are available here, sports arts are wonderful but due to corona, people are missing that college life, College life in MEA is very youthful and memorable. There available IEEE, NSS. Etc it is very important, and also MEA college get accreditation.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

MEA engineering college review

I choose this college because it near by my house and I always wanted go there . I applied for mea engineering college and computer science and I got the same college but different stream that is IT. Which is also good. They rejected because first I got a college in Kollam and rejected because it too far. And next allotment I got my second priority college. The admissions process actually nice. Not tireding first I apply for management seat then I got merit Quota.
