The Turning Point of My Life

One of my known referred me to the Shri Balwant Institute of Technology. I walked in with my documents to the college and visited the admission department directly for completing my admission formalities. I was later asked to sit down for a GDPI round with was scheduled for the very next day only. The admission process and formalities went really smoothly. I never found myself struggling with no answer on the premises.

I have interest in computers since my childhood. I was good at coding during my school also. I always wanted to become a computer software engineer and so I opted B Tech CSE. Faculty Student Ratio - 1 : 30 We use to write 2 internal assessments exams before every semester. Regular class test and quizzes were part of our academics

I was a part of many projects minor & major. I went for an internship also. It was a lifetime exp for me. College worked on my communication, personality, academics, overall development. I was filled with confidence before my final interviews. I cleared 7/9 interviews.

I sat for my first placement interview in the 7th Semester. I appeared for many mock interviews before that. I got placed at a package of 6.5 lac. eligibility for placement was no backlog with at least 60 % marks

I enrolled at 99700/ year and paid the same. There was no hike or extra charges imposed on me during my graduation. There were multiple scholarships a student can apply for.

SBIT is full of events and activities. The course curriculum and academics are designed in a way that always helps students to develop their overall personalities. We all were divided into groups looking into our interest areas. I Was in essence club. I enjoyed organizing events and activities. Stage handling was my favorite.

The topic at GD was general for all the courses. My topic was " Media is misguiding today's era" We all were given sheets and pen and 2 Minutes to prepare. It was a very interactive GD Session. All the students along with me were fantastic and their communication skills were excellent. I found this as an opportunity to avail such a crowd around me. The real reason for me to join here was the crowd and environment.
