SBIT Review

The admission to the BTech course is based on JEE Main score and no direct admission is taken. The admission process is simple you apply for the college and based on the JEE Main score they will shortlist the students and give you the admission.

The faculty of the college is helpful and are well experienced in their fields. In a class there is 60-65 students. Faculty have done their masters in their core course and some are PhD holders. I choose this course to have my bright future in the IT industry. There are 2 unit tests and assignments in one semester with one final exam.

From the 4th year campus placements of the students starts. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, cognizant, etc visit our college for campus placements. The average package offered by these companies is around 5-6 lacks per annum. 20-30% of the students get placed and others go for higher studies or off-campus placements. I will Persie MTech and currently preparing for gate examination.

The fee structure of the BTech course vary because of various reasons like good JEE Main score and there is the exemption of fees for lower caste or the students who are from Haryana state. The fees of the first year will be the same till your last year the fees do not hike year wise.

Various annual and tech fest is organised by the college every year for the BTech and other students. Almost all the books are available and you can take them home or hostel for 14 days. Our college has various sports grounds in which you can play cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. There are various clubs in which students are divided in the college.

The room of the hostels is big in which you will get a bed, almirah, study table and chair. There are 2 and 3 sitters hostels for students. Fees at the hostel are very low as compared to other colleges. Meal quality is average and a proper menu is given to the students. If you want to live outside of the hostel then there are various pg, flat or rooms available.
