Remarks

As a girl, i think the place should be safe for me. It is in a safe area as because the area is known as VIP area. Got a PG near the instute.The institute's facility is lit. I love the classrooms. Every classroom has AC and has various facilities. The staffs are well educated and very friendly.Yes, i have applied and got the educational loan from State Bank of India.

Everything is very fair. I like each and everyone of our institute. But Shafi sir is the best. He is just too much interesting.

This is my first semester so i can't tell everything. But as i know there are a large number of companies visit every year.

College Events

Campus life is good. Events, extra curricular activities are also amazing here. We celebrate technical, cultural, management festivals.

Sports is only indoor here, as because it has not playground itself. This is the only con. Wifi is good. Size of the library is sufficient for readers. Labs are very nice. The whole infrastructure is amazing.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

As I applied at this college first and I got slected so I did not have to apply to other colleges. Here the admission process is very simple. Students having more than 50% in their 10th, 12th and gradution can apply for the course of MBA. Exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT ar accepted here. Students mostly preffer MAT. A good experience

It was absolutely my sister's decision to go to this college. She wanted to be in a perfect business ambience. Therefore United world was apt for her. There is no such bad aspect.
