Remarks

I wish we had a better campus and infrastructure rest the teachers are excellent and also one experiences a good social life here at TSEC.

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE. My score was 102 in Mains. I chose this college over any other college in Mumbai because this college being famous for its faculty, the placement opportunities and also the crowd is too good here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am a student of Computer Engineering. In a span of four years.. We get to learn all the computer programming languages. Also the teachers provide us with a mini project in every subject so that we can test our skills and enhance it. Our mini projects are based on real life applications such as development of a website or making an application etc.

Internships Opportunities

No our college doesn't provide internship however there are many placement opportunities from the most successful software company to a moderate one all companies visit our college for placements.

Placement Experience

4.5

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) is a renowned college so placements are definitely good. All the good companies place students with decent salaries. TCS, Infosys, and Accenture are the major recruiters offering an average salary of Rs. 2.8-3 lac/year with highest salary even reaching a whopping Rs. 11.3 lac/year. In short, 100% placements.

This is done primarily to provide an opportunity for the freshers in college to participate and get to know the college and their seniors better. Campus Life

3.5

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) has a 50% minority quota for sindhis, so the cream crowd is very much expected. Decent people from good families are expected here. As it is located in the heart of the city, there are students from Central, South, Northern suburbs and Navi Mumbai. General life as such is a very happy-go-lucky types.

Hostel Facilities

4

Food is good and edible. So if you forget your dabba at home, sometimes it's a delight. Comparatively, a very big area and so doesn’t cause much suffocation, even during the peak hours of lunch time. Also we have Cafe Coffee Day inside our campus.. So a delight for all the coffee lovers.

Alumni/Alumna

My college seniors are very helpful when it comes to asking them anything related to studies or whatsoever. You need to know about placements ask seniors you have a problem in some subject ask seniors they are always there.

Annually We have 2 semester each semester includes two internal exams marks of these tests are included in our semester result. Also we have vivas and practical exams conducted by the respective faculty to ensure on the practical skills of each student. These marks are also included in our semester result.

4

The teaching staff at TSEC is good and well-qualified. They have proper knowledge about the subject. Teaching abilities, however, vary from professor to professor and depending on your luck, you may get excellent or average teachers. Lectures are communicated in English. All the teachers are extremely friendly and sharing an amazing rapoort witht the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
