Remarks

Applied for upper-level colleges didn't get because of marks, no quota, minimum percentile was 92.9 for comp engineering in my college and got more than that. Counselling day helped me to know the college better and also interact with faculties and senior students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Industrial need to get job opportunities. Faculty:student ratio 1:4. Many are PHDs also doctors and teach through various ppts, white boards, projector, etc. Term exams occurred every 4 months and were much difficult than expected.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides in-house internships after every semester till now I've completed 3 of them in image processing, social internship, and website development. Every internship required final projects and was successfully made in our groups.

Placement Experience

From the end of 3rd-year students are eligible to sit in campus placements. Infosys, tata, and many more which I've heard of. The highest package I've heard is 16.5 per annum. I guess my college has 100% placement. Not yet decided about future plans.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, according to me for a year's fees are very expensive like 1.42 lakhs a year also during this lockdown condition, no college equipment was used then too the fees weren't deducted. Also not applied for any scholarship or campus placement yet.

Campus Life

TCET talks, Zypher, etc. Books are available in plenty at the library. Classrooms have great amenities and cleanliness. Has many sports and other activities, football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and many more, also indoor games to play like table tennis, carrom, chess, etc. Social groups like rotaract, twec and many more

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement.
