Remarks
IPU conducts an entrance exam which is called IPU CET and you get your results in ranks. According to your ranks, you are allotted to the colleges and programs. In my case, I got admitted to this college during online counseling. I didn't have to go for an offline spot round like most of the students. The admission process was really smooth but quite tiring and stressful. You need at least 50-60% marks in 12th to be eligible for the CET exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum really needs a change as I believe it should include more practical aspects. Sadly, they focus more on theoretical concepts rather than practicals. As far as teachers are concerned, they are highly educated and quite supportive at the same time. Some of the professors are pursuing their PHDs while teaching so you can guess how talented and intelligent they are.
Placement Experience
So, ASET Delhi has is associated with AMITY Noida which means that we get to seat in their placements and enjoy their luxuries with IPU fees. Big companies like Google, HCL, Accenture, Microsoft, etc do come every year to recruit students. You need to be eligible for placements by securing at least 65% marks overall without any backlogs. IT and CS students can get placed in the first half easily since the companies usually come for their branch only mostly.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there was no hike during my time and I paid 3.5l for my whole academic curriculum. Some of the students in my batch did get financial assistance and you can get all the details through the administration office. They will guide you better.
Campus Life
The classes are quite spacious and the air conditioning works perfectly fine. Teachers also prefer teaching through projectors rather than the traditional method. Apart from this, you will find a great campus and activities taking place every day. There is a huge gaming section as well on the campus where you can play pool, PS4, Air hockey, and many more. You will also meet a lot of people during the fest which is called 'Amitech'. The vibe is really great and you will thoroughly enjoy it.
