Remarks

Every thing has a good or bad side but truly speaking this college gave me a lot and I loved it. So I would suggest each and everyone wherever you go just try to grab as much as you can and build strong relationship around yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course was well designed, not much pressure on the students. Exams were taken twice a year (semester exams) and two mid sems. Which were well evaluated and after that only promoted to the next semester. Course was well designed in perspective of practical and theory.

Placement Experience

4

Yes college will help you in getting internships and for placement they try till their last breath that every student gets placed in good companies across the globe. Hence they provide 100% placement.

College Events

5

Amity Youth Fest - Annual Fest for all the amitians. Participation is not easy as there are multiple entries for several events which then are shortlisted. Inbush - Business Meetup followed by cultural activities. Confluence - Technical Meetup.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's around 1.5 Lakh per semester. So it's quite expensive as compared to government universities. Elsewise every private university falls into this slab only. So nearly 3Lac was fees for a year. And hostel fees is 85000 (non AC) and 1.5Lac (AC) excluding food. Which is also expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's scholarships for the extremely good in academic students which include above 95% in 12th then their 1st sem fees is waived off and he/she continues to score above 9 cgoa then the scholarship continues.

Campus Life

5

There are several extra curricular activities around the year in this college and that too at a great level. Annual sports meet is held every year. Labs are really of high class having every amenities. And yes our campus got really café's inside it's campus so one can have leisure time as well by staying in campus only. Library is of world class level. Trust me.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Infrastructure - 3/5 Facilities - 3/5 Food - 2.5/5 I would suggest go for the PG's or flats. As rooms were really congested and prices were too high. But you going to have fun in hostel activities, hostel leagues etc.

Admission

Firstly I heard about this University, this Global University providing each and every course for everyone. My friends used to study here they recommended me this college. Then I went through the admission process which was basic English, Aptitude test followed by the PI (at my time)

Faculty

4

Highly qualified and always on their toes to help you out in any situation. Faculties were only the USP of this college which were really commendable by their qualifications, experience and the way they taught us in our lectures.

Delhi Technological University - [DTU], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

National Institute of Technology - [NIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Reviewed on Nov 29, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
