Remarks

I have applied for all IIMs and IITs. I have not availed of any quote. The shortlisting will be based on CAT score and profile. The process included WAT and PI. The admission list will be based on the composite score of CAT, Profile, WAT and PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA in Telecom is a niche course offered only by IIT Delhi. The faculty: student ratio was 1:4. All the faculty process PhD in their respective area of teaching. Regular feedback was taken by the university on the courses and faculty.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Over 120 offers were made and the stipend ranges between 25000-150000 per month. The projects completed during the internship need to be submitted to the college of provisioning of credits The roles and domains vary from company to company.

Placement Experience

Summer placement happens in mid of 1st semester (August-October). Final placement happens at the end of 1st year (in December). Over 120 companies visited and multiple roles were offered. All the student opted for placements are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is to be paid per semester for tuition and hostel. The total cost for my course was approx. 12,00,000. The scholarship was provided for the top 3 students based on CGPA every semester. The stipend was paid for summer internships. An honorarium was paid for research projects.

Campus Life

Rendezvous is the annual fest of IIT Delhi, Parivartan is the business fest of DMS IIT Delhi, BII is the annual conclave of DMS IIT Delhi, There are multiple clubs and committees run by the students for a host of activities.

Hostel Facilities

There are multiple hostels for boys and girls. Double sharing room in 1st year and a single room in 2nd year. Only veg meals were provided. The registration process is simple and the rent is affordable. The hostels were located in Hauz Khaz.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Interview Experience

3.5

There was a written test and personal interview. The process was conducted in multiple locations. The final admission list was based on a cumulative score of multiple assessments. I attended the process in Chennai.

Placement Experience:

The university provide both the internship and placements opportunities to the students. For summer internships the companies start visiting the campus after 4-5 months from joining the college and everyone is eligible for that. The 2 month summer internship is mandatory for every student. And for final placements companies visits in the last semester of the course. The highest package for MBA is 23 lakhs and average package is approx 7-8 lakhs. The placements rate is approx 70-80% In terms of ROI college is good.

Curriculum of this college follows almost all the important aspects which are needed to step into the real world of business. In every semester there are two types of subjects. One is practical and the second is theory. In 4th semester their subjects like statistics, managerial economics and financial accounting which will really help us to understand the business world. And in theory subjects like marketing, human resource management, organizational behavior are very important. IIFT:- THE MOST UNDERRATED BSCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY

Placement Experience:

The placements of IIFT DELHI are at par with some of the old IIM's like Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode. Iift is beast when it comes to finance and marketing. Every major international bank and every hedge fund visit the campus for recruitment. Also IIFT caters to some trade companies that only recruit from this college and don't visit any other campus in India. Last year 102 companies visited the campus , the median package was around 26 lakhs and average was around 27 lakhs. Highest package stood at 85 lakhs. And 100 percent placement was achieved. I'll be most probably going for working in a bank or a hedge fund after the degree
