Overall, It is a Good college.

Entrance Preview

CET. Never heard of the name actually. I got a free (Government fee) seat. Then I went to have a look at the college campus in year 2003.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course which I did from there was Biotechnology. . No campus interviews. There was a lot of hype about this course, but after our batch passed out, eventually, the scope for Biotechnology got decreasing. Finally, now this course is removed from the CMRIT. Not only our college, about 70% don't have Biotechnology as Engineering course anymore.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship from Biocon, which was the dream company for all the Bio-Sciences graduates and under -graduates.

No campus interview specific to Biotechnology. Lot of companies came for EC, CS, EEE and Telecom though.

I was not staying in hostel. But, what i heard from my friends who stayed was, it was bit over priced, but good.

Placements depends on batch, as my previous batch students are having alot internships but for my batch it'll start from 4th year. Alot companies like google, zomato, swiggy, visited and multiple offers are made to students. As of current no batch is passed out, so no placement data but internships report are good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

There is no official records of placements for SST as its a new college, but they do provide placements, also they provide internships in third year itself with a average stipend of 25k. The highest stipend that was offered was 2.5 lakhs from a german based company.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Scaler School of Technology : An honest review

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as placements for now (in 1st year here) but in our second year, we have placement support here. We have compulsory internship at our Second year. We only have 2 batches, 1st Year and 2nd Year. But for now, among our seniors 60% of them hold internships and others are either building something or scaling their skills. For now, we don't have any placement records but according to scaler academy, it will be aroung 24 Lakhs.
