Remarks

I have applied only to Velammal College of Engineering and Technology. It is a great college and a perfect institution for those interested in studying further. The admission criteria are nothing but they have 2 quota process counselling and management quota. The counselling process has fees of around 80k and the management quota has fees of around 1 lakh. You should have a minimum of 170 cutoffs to get counselling fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

ECE is the best course in overall engineering because it has scope throughout the world. In this college other than Ece department other departments are somewhat rude and strict. Faculty members are much much friendly and provide the necessary for the students. There will be many exams, unit test 1 2 3 and internal test 1 2 3 and model exams.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

From 5th semester the placement cell with start training for the placements. Many companies will come and offer. Day 0 companies will be Zoho, amazon and so on. Day 1 will be Infosys, cts, TCS, Wipro and so on. Other than arrear students and not interested in placement all will be selected in certain companies. There are many other options after degree like, higher studues IAS IPS and so on, it belongs on one interest.

Fees and Financial Aid

The counselling fees is around 80k and the management quota is around 1.2 lakh. The placement training will begin from the 3rd tear and give a high chance of getting through campus. And this college is now becoming autonomous and there will be enough provision to get campus interview.

Campus Life

For 1st year they will provide books but from 2nd year they won't give any books and we have to purchase them U can contact them on vcet.ac.in Velammal College of Engineering and Technology supports sports too like handball football cricket and basketball. The classroom atmosphere will be good and they eill also use projector if needed.

Hostel Facilities

The room will be good and the food will not be as good as they get money. They provide nonveg on Wednesday and Sunday. Other days will be vegetarian. For registering for a hostel u must pay the fees along with the college fees. There will be no PG or rent room near the college. So we can stay in the hostel itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Campus placements in our college usually start from 6th semester. Students are regulary trained for placements from the 1st year both in aptitude and coding skills. Certain branch students receive training specifiically in their own field Most of the students get placed in IT-service based companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys and Accenture. In recent years students have got placed for Marquee offers in big prodcut based comapnies like Autodesk, Amazon, MIcrosoft and Goldman Sachs.

The placement in the college are average and students usually become eligible for campus placements from the final year or last semester.A few companies visit the campus for recruitment, mainly offering entery level roles in technical and non technical fields the average package offered is moderate and suitable for fresh graduates while higher package depends on the student skills and performance around the fair percentage of students get placed while others prefer higher studies or prepare for competative exams the college also give the basis placement training such as aptitude practice communication development and interview guidance which helps the students improve employment

I came to this college because of the best placement offers they provide.From the 2nd year which is 3rd semester our institution training is for placements. Reputed companies like mediccin, Harmony,apollo etc are collaborating in our college. Highest salary package is 21lakhs per annum. Average salary package is 15 lakhs per annum. More percentage of students are getting placed. My plan is to get placement offers from my college..then after that I am wishing to be placed with higher salary package.

I want an entrepreneur But with the changing time and the introduction of scholarships and grants from various educational institutes, accomplishing higher education has become possible. Even the government has initiated programs to help out such talented but financially weak aspirants. It is only needed to apply for these grants before the deadline and meet the required eligibility.

If the applicant had above 60% in JEE and other national competitive exams, admission is provided with scholarship. Mechanical, civil,eee courses are offered easily with the cut off of above 120 and management quota has no donation.For ece,cse,aids,It courses the admission cut off is 175 and management quota with donation of over 3.5lakhs.
