Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as this is my childhood wish. Faculty: student ratio is 1:36. Dr. L. Andal Professor Academic Qualification - B.E., M.E., Ph.D. Academic Experience - 10 Years Mr. Deepan Chakravarthi Assistant Professor Academic Qualification - B.E., M.E. Subject Expertise -Structural Analysis I&II, Highway Engineering, Survey I&II. Academic Experience - 4 Years Mr M.Sathish Kumar Assistant Professor Academic Qualification - B.E., M.E. Academic Experience - 2 Years There are a total of 3 internals for 50 marks and the lowest scorer will be given with special care and attention.
Internships Opportunities
The internship program starts in 3rd sem (i.e. 2nd yr ) By the end of each semester you have to attend an internship and get certified and a detailed report has to be submitted. There will be mini-project hours through which you can get ideas for your final-year projects.
Placement Experience
They provide placement training from the 4th semester. They provide lots and lots of tests through Talently, co cubes and so on. Top companies mostly approach our college and they hire most of the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Government quota - 73,100 Management quota - 1,30,000 The fee structure varies depending on the course you choose. These fee structures are based on 2023 admission. As Velammal College of Engineering and Technology became Autonomous the fee structures were slightly higher than the average fees according to Anna University.
Campus Life
During the odd semester every year, college culture will be conducted in the name of "zen next". There are so many books and journals for every field in our library. The college provides smart classroom facilities for easy understanding and a better learning environment.
Admission
The eligibility is to have a minimum of 60 per cent in the 12th examination. Application details can be enquired through phone calls or else can be checked through the official website. No Improvement is needed to date.
