College atmosphere was very electric and fun.
Plenty of placement opportunities even for core companies.

Dislikes

We were the first batch of civil engineers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted to do information technology but because we didnt have money for management quota. So we had to settle for civil engineering. Teaching methods were exceptional and we were all hardworking

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Placement Experience

Good placement opportunities. We had lot of IT companies for placement. Also had core companies like glasdoor, deloitee and other companies. Most of the students who were eligible for placement got placed in the company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 98000 for management quota. I am not fully remember the splitup of the fees. The fees for government quota is 55000 per year. Merit cum fees is 35000 per year for individual. Thanks.

Campus Life

All the facilities are good and exceptional. There were no lack of facilities or opportunities. It was all good. I was state level national player in table tennis and the opportunities probided by college are huge.

Admission

It was only college we considered as it was somewhat close to our house. I had a cutiff of 184 i would have been elihible for some colleges in Chennai but my mom was not going to allow to ho yo college away from our place.

Faculty

The faculties are very responsive and approchable. We had a good teacher student relationship. Navin sir is one of the best staff and one if the favorite of the class. There was no staff that i disliked

Interview Experience

Gd was good it was free flowing and technology related along with other curicullum. We yad good oractise because of our staffs involvement. Those were very good says and had lot of scope and good outcome.

Night Life

There was no gym or late night activities. But library is one of the best place to unwind your mind. Hostel life according to my friends are all very smooth and happy occasions. The locality is completely safe.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges

Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

Velammal college of engineering and technology

If the applicant had above 60% in JEE and other national competitive exams, admission is provided with scholarship. Mechanical, civil,eee courses are offered easily with the cut off of above 120 and management quota has no donation.For ece,cse,aids,It courses the admission cut off is 175 and management quota with donation of over 3.5lakhs. I have applied for admissions in Thiagarajar College of Engineering(TCE) and Velammal College of Engineering and Technology(VCET) through the management quota.
