Thinking as it helps for better future as the course is core of engineering. But it gives bad experience in real life. Teaching methods should be improved a lot as lectures itself memorize the chapter and vomit in classroom

Velammal - The best college.

Likes

College atmosphere was very electric and fun.
Plenty of placement opportunities even for core companies.

Dislikes

We were the first batch of civil engineers.

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunities. We had lot of IT companies for placement. Also had core companies like glasdoor, deloitee and other companies. Most of the students who were eligible for placement got placed in the company.

Likes

The campus is neat and pleasant with lot of lab facilities
All the faculties were best in teaching also they made us comfortable to speak with them about all the things what we feel
Apart from studies there were lot of activities to improve our skills which is a good thing for our future

Dislikes

There were not a single cultural event or celebration
The canteen in the campus need to be improved especially in providing afternoon lunch
The teaching method of few faculties need to be improved

For example, recently a sister from my college is placed in a company for a package of 47LPA. So the placement opportunities is higher in our college. There is good placement cell and a faculty in placement cell

Likes

More placements opportunities will be there
More companies will visit the college and mostly everyone will get placed
They will train you very well and mostly top companies will visit like tcs,Zoho,Wipro etc

Dislikes

Bus facilities - college bus is not provided for certain places
Canteen food, mostly there won't be much food available
These are some of the things i didn't like in college other than this everything is fine only

Mostly staff will give you more coaching in terms of academic and also in placements, in the case of academics they will keep regular tests at regular intervals to help you learn more. By attending this test you can easily score in university exams

Except for placements this college is worse
Highly not recommended if applicant pursues to reach higher goals

By the end of 6th semester(3rdyr) students are eligible to attend campus interviews.Companies like Zoho,tcs,hcl, accenture have visited.Zoho made 3 offers.The other companies hire the best applicants.The percentage of placement is 90%. Highest package is 20lpa. Average package is 4-5lpa.Zoho package of 9.5lpa this year. My plan is to get placed in Zoho.

Good and friendly staffs, attitude towards students was very descent
Very experienced staffs hence teaching was very understandable

Dislikes

Not a very good college atmosphere. Students feel it like a school.
Good to improve English communication within the premises and also between students and staffs

Placement Experience:

From the end of third semester students become eligible for internships and they undergo the training for placements. Once they get the internships they are allowed to avail stipend respectively for which they have been selected. And attendance at the time of semester exams are only needed. Almost 80% students get placed somehow as the staffs keep training classes even on weekends. They keep practice sessions repeatedly. As of my knowledge lowest package was nearly 3LPA where as highest package was 5-6LPA.

this college contains academic staffs who are well trained
it contains students who put effort and gets succesful in their future
it is approved by All India Council For Technical Education

Dislikes

the campus is quite small where we could not explore our college life
canteen is quite not good because too many foods are not available
they are little bit strict in making students learn

as i have a huge knowledge in analytical skills i prefer this course there are wide range of students who are pursuing in this college and student ratio is quite good and this college has one of the great faculty who is experienced in training students. the facultys have a qualification of M.E and greatest qualification of PHD

Likes

I like the environment of the college. the aminities in the college are good
I like the way of teaching of the faculty, the faculty will encourage the student ideas
I like the one on one mentorship support and the doubt clearing assurance

Dislikes

The fees payment process is slow and it has to be improved
The hostel food is somewhat good and it has to be improved more
The wifi facility in the hostel is not working properly and has to be improved

I love the atmosphere of the college it's very pleasant and peaceful
I love the way faculties coordinate with the students they maintain cordial relationship
I like the academic learning process and smart class methodology.

Dislikes

Canteen can be more spacious. Food items can be improvised.

Placement Experience:

They provide placement training from the 4th semester. They provide lots and lots of tests through Talently, co cubes and so on. Top companies mostly approach our college and they hire most of the students.
