GL Bajaj

I had applied to most of the colleges in the Greater Noida region, for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, but GL Bajaj had better career opportunities, better labs, better faculty, better campus area, so I choose GL Bajaj. The admission can be taken by appearing for UPSEE, where if you got better ranks you can avail the scholarship. Also, the university provides scholarships based on the yearly family income of the student. Minimum marks required in class 12th is 60% aggregate. There is no such age limit for admission. Counselling is done by AKTU university, and you can take admission directly by visiting the college.

I choose B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, because I alsways wanted to. The faculty student ratio of our college is about 1:10, in our branch. All the faculty members have completed their masters in their respective subjects and have either completed their doctorate or are pursuing it. Exams are conducted every 6 months, known as end semester examinations, and sessional tests are held every 45 days.

Aur college provide an internship that is not paid but it also supports taking is internship from outside the campus where the strip and where is from 5 to 25000 per month. If you pursue internship from the college we have certain labs like marketonix robotics CAD camp and workshop where you can brush up your skills.

Value cross your 6th semester and enter into the 7th semester you are eligible for campus placements. The number of companies that visit our college increases every year and they are so sufficient that most of the students even have two offers at a time. In the mechanical engineering branch the highest offer where is from 10 to 12 lacs per annum where the average goes to about 4 to 5 lacs per annum. And almost all the students get placement from other branch.

The per year fee that one has to pay is generally less than what we have payed the previous year. On an average the yearly fee can be taken as 1,40,000 INR tution fee. To aval the scholarship either get a good rank in upsee or avail yearly scholarship by UP government for economicall weaker families.

College doesn't really organise any college Fest. Only farewell is organised for the final year students. Journals and research paper are available in the library, generally, everything you need for the curriculum or everything you need related to your course is available there. You can participate in various sports we have a separate area for sports. There are various clubs and groups related to 40 like we have a club for dancing singing and various arts. Even have groups or clubs related to activities of our branch where we can do to the practicals of what we are learning in theory.

The room is well-ventilated air conditioner or air cooler is provided as per the need, water is available and electricity is available 24 into 7, hot and cold drinking water are also available throughout the year. The food provided is also of decent quality considering the large number of students reading at the same time. Registration for the college is done through the registration desk at the college itself. Don't want to take up the hostel facility you can opt for a PG in nearby areas which also provide decent quality of rooms and foods.

The entrance exam has the same pattern as that of JEE Mains. After counselling from the university you appear for a short interview round where you have to tell about your previous academic record, and expectations from the college and why did you chose your branch. These rounds were easy enough that don't require any special preparation for the exam.
