Remarks

I just applied to this University only. I didn't have any kind of quota. JEE mains were required for the admission otherwise you're not eligible. The admission process was simple, we were called to chitkara school, Chandigarh. There we paid the fee and just opted for a hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because I already had an interest in this field. Faculty student ratio is quite good as there are only 30-60 students in each section. The faculty teachers were all qualified in their respective fields.

Internships Opportunities

All companies coming for placements first offer for the internship like Hike z Oyo, gojek etc and major toles are Software Developers / Full stack developers / Data Analysis etc. We were having a specialization course in 6th sem to get hands on experience on industry level work

Placement Experience

We became eligible for campus placements from the 6th sem onwards. Many companies visit this University for placements like Oyo. Hike. Gojek etc The highest package last year was 30 LPA and avg is 7-8 LPA. Almost of the students gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no hike in the fee structure, i just had to pay the same amount of 80000 in all semesters You just have to pay the same amount in all of your semesters. There are very few opportunities for scholarship because their fee structure is just fixed.

Campus Life

There are 2 annual fests. One happens in baddi campus and other happens in Punjab campus in even-odd semester respectively. The library is quite good and all of the books are available. Students gets a lot of chances in sports also as we have many facilities available in the campus and there are many intra campus compititios also

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is also very good as all of the hostel rooms are cleaned daily. Mess quality is mediocore We had to register for the hostel at the time of admission but hostel fees is to be payed only while joining.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is good and it is improving since then. TPO looks after this process and it is responsible to call comapnies to the college and discuss about the eligibility of the students who can appear for the placements. For internships, students in the 3rd year appear for it while for placements 4th year students can appear. The average package is approx. 8-9 LPA while the highest has gone to 64 LPA during my college duration. Almost all students get placement.

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Placement Experience:

College does provide a decent number of companies to students to get placed but as per seniors Companies come with good package but students fail to grab them. Students are eligible for placement form 7th semester. As data given to us from t&p for this year currently the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is touching 8 but don't get excited it's just the starting months of placement season. My plan is to get a good college for post grad as that was my plan from the start ??

Students became eligible for placement after 3rd year. Google, Adobe, de shaw, L&T, Schneider, Amazon etc visit campus The highest package was 42 lacs and the median package is 8.1 lacs. More than 90% get placed.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
