I got admission to the United college of engineering and research through the Direct quota. There are two ways to get admission in UCER is Direct admission or through upsee exam. Eligibility criteria for admission in UCER are students must be 12th passed.

There are a wide variety of courses available. I have opted for BTech from the Computer science and engineering branch. There is a maximum number of CS/IT Students with respect to other branches. Bonding between faculty and students is very strong, the faculty is very friendly and helps every student.

UCER college collaborates with many companies for a summer internship and industrial training program. This year college collaborate with IBM for summer internship programs. There are many internships provided by college as well like campus ambassador programs, awareness programs, etc.

You can apply for in-campus placements in the 3rd year (6th semester) of any 4 year program like(BTech). Minimum 60 percent is required with no back paper as per company requirements. The average income of UCER placed students is 3-4Lac per annum.

There are different fee structures for different courses. The fee of course that I opt for is 120025 for the first year and have to pay the 8200 examination fee directly to AKTU. And for the rest of the year 115525. I also opt bus facility which costs me 17000 per year. UCER college provides scholarship on the behalf ranking in upsee exam--- General rank. UCER college which is a part of UGI(United group of institutions) conducts the EGNIMA fest every year in which many celebrities like singers, dancers are invited to make the fest enjoyable. There are a large variety of books are available in the library of different streams. if you need books that are not available in the library that you can write an application for that book and then they will provide that book to you.
