MIET College Review

I had only applied for Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology and i attended it. I availed of the general quota during my admission which offered me a scholarship in my annual fees. Admission criteria in my program ( CS AI ) were 70 % aggregate in the board exam or through JEE Mains counseling. i.e, Students above 70% are eligible for admission to our college and the minimum age requirement is above 17 years. I got admission through JEE Mains counseling in the third round cutoff in which I got 60,000 ranks in my category all India. I completed my counseling process through my PC myself.

I chose this course because I have a mere interest Artifical intelligence as there is wide scope of AI in future and also i have more interest in technical inputs. So, i decided to chose this course. There is the ratio of 1: 23 of faculty to student as this provides better attention of teachers on students to students. Our college faculty memebers are good and PhD holder. The teaching quality is very good. Our college has the best academic record. Our college focuses on student's growth. They prepare us practically and theory as well. They help every student, and they arrange extra classes for academically weak students. This college makes students industry-ready.

The college provides a campus internship facilty to 3rd 4th year students . The companies like Tech Mahindra and other provide internships to students . They make them work on live projects. Also they hire many students during the internship also.

The placement facility is very good in the college even it is best as compared to other colleges in the area. some big MNC visits as mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Accenture etc. The average package goes for 6-7 lacs which is quite good as a fresher. Last year the highest package goes upto 25 lacs. My plan is also to get a placment in recognised company with a decent package.

The fee structure of the college is average as compared to other engineering colleges in the ncr. Also the college provides varous scholarships to the meritouroius students. The college provides an extra facilty of funding if some want to have sone startup.

The college organizes many cultural and annual programmes and fests for the students. Every year there is a big annual fest in February for three days. There is a Star night also in which the college invites a celebrity to perform. The college also organizes many sports events also And also there are many societies and clubs for specific branch students.
