Remarks

Colleges that I applied for were basically , 1. Jai hind. 2.St.Xavier's college. 3.K.C.College I dint applied with any quota , I am from general category. The Minimum Criteria for Bsc IT was basically based on the marks of Math Subject and according to the merit list we get admissions accordingly. We were given online form that had to be filled online and then we had to carry the other documents with it and submit at the college. Process was easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in computers and new technology so I opted for this course. We had one teacher for each subject. The faculty of K.C.College was really good, they were very helpful throughout the three years. We had exams every six months with a total of 6 semesters, overall three years course. It is not that difficult to pass if you know have knowledge about the subject.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I worked under Curaksha Securities as an intern. For a week, the stipend was 2000. The project was based on creating a website that recorded and track the activities of others and kept an eye on the incoming data.

Placement Experience

From semester 5th, you are eligible for placements. Companies that visited us were Tata, Infosys, curaksha securities, and many many more. Packages range from 18000-30000. From the students apply 50% + gets placed through their skills. My plan is to pursue MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees are around 25000/- for the general category. You can pay in two intervals if you have any financial problems. At the end of the course, they provide you with many well-known and reputed companies to work with. Faculties here work very hard so that each and every student gets placed in good company.

Campus Life

Social Groups include, Kiran Community, This is the group of the college event. Blitz community. Like this, there are various other groups formed based on the course and their respective groups handling different works related to their knowledge.

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

Teaching methods were good by some professors but one professor taught from ppt only. 2 and half hour for each exam and 60 marks paper all subjective no mcq as such. Practical exam is 150 marks including lab work , journal, viva voce.

Remarks:

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Being part of MIT ADT University there are some disadvantages of not being a regular student. We always need to be in our best behaviour, need to be always dressed in uniform in college function and a high penalty of suspension is followed if presented differently.

Life learning by the sea

I had applied for 3 colleges- Patkar college, Sophia and KC. I got selected in all three colleges but just because i wanted to experience travelling I decided to take KC.
