Remarks
I apple to numerous colleges but then I got KJ on the first list and couldn't think of any other college than this. I got admission into KJ through sports quota as I delete sports management as my specialization and I am a state level kho kho player. So this made it easy. The admission process was basic. We filled forms from the college website and then the lists were displayed. As per the lists, we were called for a Personal Interview and then we were confirmed. The interview is only for the sports management section. There was a general interaction process gele before the academic year started.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because sports management is a growing field and only a few colleges offer them and KJ seemed best. There are different faculties for every different subject and each one of them is specialists in the field of sports and well trained professionals. The teaching method is 60% practical and 40% theoretical. Two exams are held per semester, one is an internal assessment practical test and one final written test. It was very easy to pass as far as one is dedicated.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course gets completed within two lacs if you have a sports quota. If you do not have any quota, it takes about 4 lacs approx for the overall course. But it is worth every penny. There are scholarships offered by the college as per your excellence in sports that you played before. There is a reduction in your fees on this basis. There are no campus placements however the college makes us market ready which also includes a module on how to get work.
Campus Life
There is numerous fest that runs on the campus year round. Sports fests there are eye catching and stunning. There is a huge library where one can get any book of their choice. There is no reading hall but the college campus does that. Classrooms are fairly equipped but other amenities are super. The college encourages sports and other extracurricular activities wholeheartedly. There are many social clubs and student organizations that run over the campus.
