Remarks

There's no particular bad remark for our college except for attendance problem, we might get sick or sometimes may got in a problem but college demand a cent percent of 75 percent with no excuse and compromise. It is a must required element. And student faces some problem regarding it but besides that there is no bad remark in this college.

Entrance Preview

There's no particular exam to enter the college. I choose this college because I was impressed by the wonderful teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course was very good indeed and enthusiastic teachers were very much there to help us guide the whole course. There are certain events in the course like literature week., Yuvatarang, food fest. Photography, and many more. There are certain price also which will also help in interest of the student, certain marks are also given to the students as an internal assessment. The course structure is very good and experience teaching is very much there. However teachers is not the only one teaching we students also help others. We teach them they teach us. It's a friendly environment.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college do provide internship but I was in the bachelor of arts and thus do not know much about it as our course doesn't require any internship phenomenon. However there is nursing department in our college and internship is very much there for such courses.

Placement Experience

4

As soon as we reach final year lots of companies will come with a placement, as far as the whole college is concerned there were 70+ student been placed under placement. Certain companies like IBM, trx, some other companies like online selling companies also come for placement. They offered for a part time as well as full time. Salary is depending on the job and also with the qualifications of the student.

College Events

4

There are many events happening in our college, Ganapathi, Independence day, yuvatarang, dashera, saraswati puja etc were celebrated. The events were celebrated with everyone along with faculty members and with the college chairperson as well as with the principal. Yuvatarang is mostly celebrated. It's the day of the colors. It's very grandly done with food fest and many other colleges came to participate in our college for talent show singing dancing etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is neither feasible nor expensive. For our bachelor's in arts the semester fee is 15000 Indian rupees, for Bangalore locals it's 12000 and for foreign students it's around 40000. So it's hard to say whether it's feasible or expensive. But as far as the college provide for our knowledge it's kinda ok.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a certain sure about scholarship but I don't know exactly the full structure of it. Students getting 80 percent in the academics has a sure chance of getting a scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is about 50 50, there will be some parties also about celebrating freshman year, teachers day, DJ night, etc. Lots of foreign students are there especially from Africa, Iran Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Lau etc religion is very secular and no discrimination is visible. There will be health clubs. Debate about current affairs etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

About hostel, there is separate boys and girls hostel, for the girls it is quite nice but not so good for the boys. The boys hostel consist of more than 20 rooms, it's a 3 floor building with a mess hall. If it's sharing there will be a maximum of 3 people. No outsider are allowed inside the hostel. It's being guard securely by a warden.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah the alumni network and senior students are quite helpful, sometimes they act as a guide when teachers fail to do so. Senior help in a way with a friendly manner and guide us through hard times. As an example like where we can get good books something about any ongoing college fest ect. They are quite helpful with the junior students.

Exam Structure

Exams were well being done. There is no cheating and stuff, there are cameras and also a high mega pixel eye of the invigilators. Certain people from the university also come in the time of final exams to check and re check the student body and teachers also. After all it is an exam and hectic day were there but most of all it's a chilled out.

Admission

The admission process was not much of a hurdle, we can go directly to the admission department with required documents like 10+2 certificate, photos and the required money and can admit. However if the individual student already enter a Bangalore university based college then he or she needs to clearify every documents necessary. If he or she enter a Bangalore university based college and drop the current college and try to enter this college you have to get every documents taken from him or her by the previous college because of certain problem. The admission is easily done with the required documents from the student and no agent is needed while doing admission, a certain student can directly go to the admission department and can admit himself or herself. The admission department is located on the ground floor of the main block of the college. There will be three siting staffs which you can cooperate easily and can start the admission process. For bachelor degree you have to choose subjects depending on your own desire.

Faculty

4.5

Our faculty member our teachers were quite experience as far as their subject is concerned. They teach us they train us in a very experience way. They are quite qualified to teach any undergraduate student, some were PhD which were quite qualified to teach any undergraduate student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
