Remarks

Admission form of knipss will available online on the college website and minimum eligibility is 12th pass or appearing can also fill the form. The selection procedure is via merit of 12th class and counselling at the college campus. In counselling, normal questions of 12th based are asked which you have to answer. If you will get selected then they give you a slip and admission form which you have to fill and submit with the required fees of course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because it has a vast scope as it is a professional degree and it has scope in both private and government field that's why I adopted this. There are many jobs in the government sector and some special post in banks and also in civil services like ''jila Krishi Adhikari''. Knipss faculty is good, all professors have a doctorate from reputed institutes like icar and iari. Their teaching experience is also long and has a good teaching approach, all faculty members are very punctual and attend classes with great enthusiasm. As agriculture has also practical work and all teachers have good knowledge about practicals and regular practical work of three hours is done in college. Exams are now semester wise and the college also conducts quarterly exams. As our university is Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University Ayodhya, so they conduct exams and exams are easy to pass by any regular college going student.

Internships Opportunities

1

Being a student of 4th year there are no kind of internship programs is offered in the last four years. But there is project works in last year in like RAWE which is part of the syllabus, in which you have to work in the field and collect survey from your nearby villages. There are many projects related to each subject which include fieldwork and lab work. There are dedicated 3 hrs for project work and practice every day in college.

Placement Experience

2.5

There are not good placements in college, students who got placed get an average salary of 15000. Companies are private about which I don't know very much. Percentage of students, don't know few students get placements and many students are not interested in the placement. Many students focus on further studies or preparation for government jobs related to agriculture. My plan is also to prepare for jobs after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are submitted in two terms, first during admission and the second instalment during the second semesters. Fees structure are like a minimum of 15000 per semester and there can also be a hike, overall fess is near about 35000 of both semester. These fees are currently taken, they rise fess every year by nominal. Scholarships are provided by the state government which is decided by the government but it is about 35% of total fees and there is no scholarship provided by the college. There are some rules in the state government scholarship program which you will know during form submitting(Government employee can't fill the form). Placement in college is not enough good, students who got placements get an average salary of 12000 to 15000/per month which is not good in my opinion.

Campus Life

2.5

Sorry about this but there is no kind of great annual fest. The annual fest is not celebrated in the college, they only organise freshers party and farewell party. And being last year student I have not attended any of these function. The library has some kind of decent facility, they have all books related to your course and which can be issued easily. I have not found any kind of journals in 4 years but hope the coming student found them. There are sports activities like cricket, volleyball, yoga is introduced, in which students can take part and can play up to university and state level. Annual sports meet is organised by college every year in which student from different colleges take part. There are social groups like NSS in which students can take part and they will get benefits of certificate in amy palaces like government college admission and government jobs also. There is no website run by the student but students run many social media groups.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There is a hostel on the campus which is a kind of combined hostel in which many faculty students live like b.tech, b.pharma students. But the hostel has great facilities like they provide good food, 24 hrs electricity, wifi, and have a badminton court in it. There are two seater and three seaters rooms with attached balcony, with 2 fans in each room. Meal quality is good, they provide 4 times meals means morning breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner. The menu is fixed for each day and can be changed by requesting the manager of the mess and by the hostel warden. The hostel is provided by the college itself which anyone can take as per the availability of rooms in the hostel. there are many lodges near the college which anyone can easily take but the problem of the mess I not available in the lodge.

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
