Remarks

I am currently enrolled in the Course B.A.LL.B. at Central University of South Bihar, Gaya. This college previous took an exam of 100 marks but now it is regulated by the CUCET authority. To take admission to this college, you need to score atleast 50 marks. However, sometimes it took admission of those students whose marks are below 50. It has the strength of 120 in the B.A.LL.B. programme. When I had given the examination of this college, it is taking admission on 45 marks and above. When you are selected, you get a message from the university for counselling and the date was provided to you. On the counselling date, you need to submit each and every certificate that you are told to submit in its notification. Here, you have to pay money on sbi collect and then you have to submit the copy of the receipt of payment on counselling day but in case, you have not paid the amount, you need not worry because there is an SBI bank on the campus from where you can proceed your payment.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have chosen this course because I have to do judiciary in future. Before taking admission here, I have heard alot about this college. Here faculties are also good and their pedagogy is awesome. They give time to their students and their supervision over students is also good. Here, all faculties are very knowledgeable and they teach in a very interesting way. Here, exams are taken from your syllabus whatever you taught in the class and if you have attended classes regularly then it is not so much difficult to pass the examination.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Here, you got the internship leave of around 45 days in summer vacation and you can do internship wherever you want to do. In winter vacation, there is a small leave only to refresh your mind. Here, you have a good opportunity for an internship.

Placement Experience

3

You can get placement from here if you want. Some faculties bring some companies to provide you with placement. Not exactly know, but students are getting placement from here. My plans after getting a degree from here are to give the examination of Judiciary as it is a dream for me to be a judge in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a government college, so it is easy to survive for an economically backward family. Here, you have to pay around 7500 for a semester means 15000 per year. Further, if you are allotted a hostel you have to pay 9000 per semester means 18000 per year and besides you have to 2300 for a mess fee for 1 month means 27600 in a year. So, a total of around 50000, you have to pay per year if you are getting all facilities including hostels.

Campus Life

4

Life at the campus is very good. Here, you get freshers from seniors and a farewell from juniors. In February month, there is celebrated an annual fest in which different kinds of sports competition, quiz competition happens among students. Here, you get almost all the books that you need for your course. All types of books and journals are available here. Here, you can play cricket, badminton, football, volleyball, race competition etc happens from times to time.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

In the hostel, you get almost all the facilities that you need. You get two roommates along with you in a room. You get a bed, a table, a chair and an almirah for your personal use. Further, you can play games like table tennis, badminton, etc. Further, you get different food items daily on a routine basis. However, its registration process is too hectic. You have to struggle alot for registration. But, overall, a good experience here in the hostel.

Reviewed on May 23, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Placement Experience:

CNLU is generally known for Judiciary. The majority of students are preparing for the Judiciary exam. Placement at this college is quite low compared to other colleges. This is because in placement very few students sit and appear for the placements. The majority of the students opt for higher studies like LLM or other PG courses or start preparing for Judiciary or Civil service exams. The main disadvantage of low placement is the geographical location of this college. It is situated in Patna where there is no company resides. All the major companies are in Delhi, Mumbai, or other big cities. Patna is underdeveloped which is why most of the big companies don't come to recruit the students. Students are eligible for placement from the eighth semester only. After completing his/her graduation they can join the company. Major companies visited for placement are banks and second-tier law firms. Approx 25% of students get placed during the year. I am planning to prepare for the judiciary.
